I don't think it's entirely sheltered to swing a sword at someone/thing. Kids play that sort of game all the time (well, kids I remember, me and my friends used to play Pirates and Knights and whatnot), but it's imagination and make-believe games. Fighting is something that pretty much grows in society, be it verbal or physical as a social thing, be it calling each other names or rough-housing between friends. In today's society, I wouldn't think that it is that uncommon for someone to swing a weapon at another person, whether the intent be harm or not. (I think that is the sort of thing Judas was referring to?)
I think he may be referring to Judas' opinion and not the article. [editline]22nd November 2012[/editline] Although I could very well be wrong.
Isn't this story old? I know for a fact I've read about this happening years ago, can't believe the same event happened twice.
I think he may be referring to Judas' opinion and not the article. [editline]22nd November 2012[/editline] Although I could very well be wrong.
Oh. I was kind of referring to that as well, as Judas said that Pyro must be sheltered for believing in someone that is stab-happy being a psychopath (don't get me wrong, he probably was a few pigeons short of a coop). Either way, everyone's opinion is their's and is equally valid.
um i am in genuine shock, like, you have to be psychotic to actually consider it a rational idea to take a fucking sword and swing it at another living thing over something that god damn petty. he shouldn't go to jail, he should go to a psychiatric ward.
If things were right, jails would have a psychiatric ward...
poor woman, if only he had an inferior weapon she might have survived, but i can't imagine even a young healthy woman surviving the mixture of both grace and deadliness which is the katana
I heard she was cut in one slice by the expertly crafted edge of the katana. For a weapon masterful enough to slice through solid steel to cut through our flesh must be the most indescribable pain
I heard she was cut in one slice by the expertly crafted edge of the katana. For a weapon masterful enough to slice through solid steel to cut through our flesh must be the most indescribable pain
Well, the article referred to it as a stabbing. I imagine it was really really awkward in his unskilled hands. And yes, I understand you were joking :v:
Wow that seems like one fucked up kid, that should be mentally evaluated before they put him in jail so that they can see what he was thinking as he did that. It might turn out that he was a little crazy at the time when this happened.
This is the second most virgin looking guy I have ever seen.
is the first you
is the first you
that was incredibly uncalled for
vido gams r bad
50 years old is pretty young to be a grandma.
My mother was a great aunt at 8. Youngest of 5 kids does that.
probably someone from /v/
His great-grandmother is 50 years old!? Jesus I wonder how old the mom must be.
probably someone from /v/
-snip-
This is why we must ban video games think of the children won't someone think of the children
It was probably CoD
I wish they'd thought that pellet gun was real and unloaded on this sack of shit.
The big problem in this story is obviously the big bad vidya games, and not the fact that this asshole had a fucking ninja sword at arms reach.
His great-grandmother is 50 years old!? Jesus I wonder how old the mom must be. >Chilling at home playing some vidya >alphaasfuck.jpg >Suddenly grandma comes in >"ANON STOP PLAYIN YUR VIDYA" >Alpha instincts kick in >Tell me to kill my grandmother >Grab one of my prized imported bootleg Japanese swords >Kill grandma >Consume her power >Start to get hungry >Can't get food because grandma is dead >Everybody walk the dinosaur >Ogre drive >Spaghetti [sp]faggots[/sp]
No "fucking gamestop" anywhere. 0/10.
Well the grandma still wins.. he won't be playing any more video games for a long time.
'We almost had to hog tie him to not hurt him,' said Sheriff Miller, adding that each time deputies arrested the teen, they took him to the hospital for evaluations and doctors released him.
People have already stated in the thread that this kid is a psychopath, but the APA doesn't recognize psychopathy officially as a mental illness, which is concerning to say the least! A psychopath doesn't have to kill anyone to be a psychopath, often people who display psychopathic tendencies find themselves in the business world, law enforcement, as lawyers, medical professionals. Have this very long article about psychopathy, if you're interested. I just wrote a paper analyzing studies that have looked at aggressive behaviour and violent video games and laid down criticisms of research (It was an introductory course in Psychology). This news is not something I wanted to read ever, more so after handing in a paper like that. Very disappointing, something tells me we're going to start hearing about the terrible effects of violent video games on the news again.

Even if you have an unloaded revolver for example, you still never fucking point it in somebody's direction as a joke. It's not big, it's not clever, it's certainly not fucking funny, and if somebody freaks out and self-preservation takes control you could find yourself in a world of pain holding an unloaded gun. There's... orders of magnitude difference between 'rough-housing' and brandishing a weapon around people.

The behaviour is then transferred or taken into adulthood in some people I guess, but they lack the sense of what should and shouldn't be done. I apologise for not being more clear.
50 years old is pretty young to be a grandma.
My grandfather was about 50 when I was 10, I wouldn't call it much of a stretch

What a fucking abomination. We can detect those assholes in their fetal state today. Why dont we just do a favor to the gene pool and abort them and neuter their parents? We have the knowlegde and technology for it, clean the fucking genome.
God damn baka gaijins.
