what if the reason that legs were considered naughty is because people were sexually attracted to them? (I highly doubt it because it seems very odd, but just an example)
the whole argument is that if guys should be able to be topless then so should women, but are most women attracted to men's breasts? maybe certain male bodies are attractive, but i doubt being sexually attracted without a boner is as bad as with a boner. yeah, they might get hard nipples but it is easier to cover that up.

Legs are still definitely "attractive" on a sexy girl. Not saying I have a leg fetish but I think you know what I mean.
Now at first, when I came in here expecting just post like "Well fuck yeah let's let them be topless", but as I read the arguments, I became a little more conservative in my thinking. I definitely think it would be sort of exploited in so many ways....there's just so many situations that I don't feel like getting in to it really.
But also, I think you guys gotta remember that part of the reason males are attracted to breasts to begin with is because it's natural instinct. There was a thread about this a few months ago or something in GD.
Now unless the women making this argument are primarily feminists, I've got to say that the first sort of thought that comes to mind about this is that these women want to be able to show off their breasts in public for some sort of sexual reason. Maybe they want to have a better chance of picking up a guy by showing their boobs...I don't know....but it's not ridiculous, because after all, it is natural. I'm having trouble sort of summing my thoughts up, parting because there is kind of a lot to this, but I do feel that in retrospective that it makes sense to allow women to appear topless in public, despite the sexually provocative image that breasts can/do have.
