If women started walking around shirtless all the time it would take a couple of years but eventually everyone would find it normal and not arousing.

Those protesting are the ones who believe in equal rights. It is discrimination to not allow women to be topless in public. There's no real reason for it, if men can be. Just because breasts are sexually explicit is no reason to hide them. Men's naked bodies can be equally attractive to people attractive to men. But they're still allowed.

Agreed on all points, but what this is saying is it should be ALLOWED for them to do it. Most women will choose otherwise, as I doubt every single woman on Earth will suddenly strip their tops off at once.
However, this isn't saying whether it's acceptable or not, but whether it's legal or not.

Somewhere along the lines, modern society decided that covering womens breasts was the appropriate thing to do. To be honest, I don't know why else they would do that other than to protect them seeing as thats what clothes are initially designed for.
The reason people find it 'sexy' is because its a part of the body that is obscured by clothes and the less we see of it (seeing as decent people wear clothes) we find it lustful.
I remember when I first saw boobs (on a Girls Gone Wild censored commercial at 4am) I was so excited and felt so naughty doing it... just watching at that age... but now after watching actual porn, it doesn't turn me on the same way it had.
does the world desensitise apply here?
