Pisses me off how they disregard completely the amount of damage they do to the atmosphere. I usually don't give a shit about global warming, but I never thought any country turned out that much shit. No where in England or Dubai have I ever seen such shitty conditions. They seriously need to pull their shit together and cut down on the pollution they emit.
Sad that the people that have to live with it can't even try to vote against it. I wonder if this is what pictures from the industrial revolution would have looked like in color...
I've driven through Gary, Indiana and I thought it was bad. It's nothing compared to this, at least the smoke was white!
That just looks completely unreal, it is amazing to think that people live where these photos are taken :frown:
looks like a screencap from MW2 or something

China has more remote villages/communities that are at least somewhat clean. However, pollution is indeed a very major problem in the more major cities and villages.
Holy shit, dude. Real life evidence of why dealing with our pollution problem is so important.
That's pretty horrible. It's a shame that their government isn't helping the situation much. :(
wow this shit is like Forge Worlds in Warhammer 40k. Adeptus Mechanicus would be proud.

Everyone talks about China becoming a new super power... Compare the average GDP per capita: US: $47,700 per person China: $5,900 per person Their people live in poverty. They work 60 hour weeks. They are facing a crisis from the huge male to female gap ratio. People are executed for writing against the government. China is a terrible country that is bound to collapse on itself.
China is a terrible country that is bound to collapse on itself.
For it's own good. Unlike the US ...
While I'm not denying that China is a shithole, you can find photos like this pretty much anywhere if you look hard enough. Find a landfill and you'll find garbage everywhere. Find a copper smelter and you'll find orange water. Find an industrial park and you'll find smog.

Don't think it'd collapse any soon, but if the people actually do something, then something might happen. Something incredibly big. Like 500 million protesting and wrecking havoc.

This is exactly why I don't give a fucking shit about China. Also, people love to say how the United States is a polluted shit hole, China has so much pollution they have 10% less sunlight on average then the rest of the world.
Why do you think they go to such efforts to censor the exchange of information?
Isn't it possible to bypass them by using simple proxies?

I love how China says they want to be a part of the Green revolution. Also, the average citizen doesn't like these conditions, it's the corrupt higher-ups who don't care because they don't have to live in it. If they really want long-term prosperity, they wouldn't fuck up their environment. Of course, it's fucking up ours too, since we live in a closed system.
Shit, and I thought Mexico had a pollution problem. I can't even imagine what it's like living in China. D:
Shame on you jackie chan! why didnt you overthrow the government! and dammit i wanted to actually go to china at one point is there actually parts of china left untouched by pollution or is it pretty much all fucked?
Hope to god a wormhole opens up in their atmospheric area sucking all that crap out, but it's only a dream. Or they can fucking plant trees, even though they only suck up Carbon Dioxide, not Acid.
oh wow. Sucks to live there. This isn't much different to how European society looked during the Industrial Revolution, folks. It'll change.
