MadLibs maybe?
it's not funny
Does not apply here. They are complaining about taxes being too high but it has to be relative to something. Compared to the rest of the world they are low and compared to America itself historicaly they are very low. If they just want them to be lower for the sake of being lower then they are retarded.
Why does what the rest of the world does matter? I don't want 25% of my paycheck taken from me. I understand that I have to pay something, but 1/4 of what I make? No thanks. I am totally fine with local taxes and state taxes since they provide roads, schools, and policemen/firemen, but federal taxes are what I take issue with. Our federal taxes mainly pay for the military, social security, and medicare, and other miscellaneous wasteful things. Our military is way too large and needs to be downsized. This alone could really lower taxes. Social Security is pointless to me at least. I don't think many people believe that people who are 20 now will see a dime from social security when they're 65. Most of the stuff the federal government spends money on is pure crap.
What would you be saying if he had said that the tea party WAS a racist movement glaber?
So because everyone else has higher taxes, we should too? Nice bandwagon fallacy.
No, but your lower taxes aren't helping you get anywhere. I know you practically support the Tea Party, and are yourself some sort of anarchist or libertarian, but you're REALLY dumb if you think deregulation is good, lower taxes are good, and etc.
what the fuck are you talking about, federal taxes go to roads, schools, and policemen if you're looking for the budget blackholes, they are in the state government
I don't believe there is a federal police force other than something like the FBI, which we don't need. The only roads they pay for are interstates, which isn't a big deal. The other 99.9999% of roads are state or county owned. And yeah the federal government does some school funding, but I think it's all part of No Child Left Behind. Which means they don't give money to schools that do poorly which are the ones that need it. it's much more than that, i suggest you become informed did you ever wonder why the drinking law is universal across all states? [editline]07:43PM[/editline]
Our spending isn't helping us get anywhere.
what's your rational for that

[editline]09:43PM[/editline] Our spending isn't helping us get anywhere.
Do you really think a country can be 99% private sector, 1% government sector and work? No, it doesn't work. Do you really think that companies and corporations(Who are already able to commit murder and get away with it, and probably much worse) should run the world? I'm not defending the government, but you're ignorant and naive to think companies are any more trust worthy. Also, FBI = Very necessary. And yes, No Child Left Behind is a lump of bullshit and should be done away with. No one argues that.
I don't believe there is a federal police force other than something like the FBI, which we don't need.
The FBI operates the largest Forensic Laboratory in the world, and investigates matters of conspiracy and crimes that cross state boundaries. Local Police Departments can also request assistance in certain circumstances.
it's much more than that, i suggest you become informed did you ever wonder why the drinking law is universal across all states?
Doesn't it have to do with the government handing out money to states? I don't think that the federal government should fund the states. I'd pay slightly higher state taxes if I got drastically lower federal taxes.
what's your rational for that
Largely the two wars we're in. Spending billions on a war that isn't helping anyone in the US isn't a wise use of money. At least Social Security and Medicare help Americans even if they don't benefit me.
I don't believe there is a federal police force other than something like the FBI, which we don't need.
Uh, what?
slightly higher those programs benefit all people, unless you are completely isolated from the rest of the country
I'm 19. I don't get social security checks, I only throw money at it.
I'm 19. I don't get social security checks, I only throw money at it.
It's called social security for a reason, it benefits society in the long term, not just your selfish ass. If you don't want to be altruistic, go live out in the woods by yourself.
I'm 19. I don't get social security checks, I only throw money at it.
You pay into the system and receive the benefits when eligible.
You pay into the system and receive the benefits when eligible.
I'm not fooling myself into thinking SS will be around in 45 years. Theres been talk of it being broke right now.
It's called social security for a reason, it benefits society in the long term, not just your selfish ass. If you don't want to be altruistic, go live out in the woods by yourself.
To be fair, social security isn't going to be there in 10 years. It's likely to run out very soon as the age boom goes by, they'll raise the taxes on pay checks for it for 30 years practically bankrupting a generation. Social security is one of the few social policies I actually disagree with because it's a social policy.

Well, my point still stands that social policies are altruistic, and not meant to directly benefit you immediately, most of the time. You pay taxes to support roads because everyone uses them, not just you.

Social security is sadly one of the ones that seems like it always was destined to fail. The big problem with it exists based solely on population booms, and when there is no boom, there is no problem, but once a boom is old and eligble for it, the current working force will not be a boom, and will be totally unable to support it. Which is what's happening now, and will either bankrupt the kids and young adults going into work, or it will totally fuck old people. I for one, not being greedy, think the old people can get the stick on this one.
you see this guy? He founded the tea party website. just sayin'
NIGGAR? That sounds like a bad Japanese B-movie.
I'm 19. I don't get social security checks, I only throw money at it.
social security isn't the only social program we have excuse me [editline]09:54PM[/editline] in fact our social programs are crumbling because of budget issues
I'm 19. I don't get social security checks, I only throw money at it.
you don't know what social security is, do you? [editline]08:35PM[/editline]
I'm not fooling myself into thinking SS will be around in 45 years. Theres been talk of it being broke right now.
nothing new, really
Why is S.S ruined for our generation?
you see this guy? He founded the tea party website. just sayin'
TBH this isn't really racist.
TBH this isn't really racist.
that's not racist?
Why is S.S ruined for our generation?
Because no Americans want to pay taxes to the evil government.
Because no Americans want to pay taxes to the evil government.
No, can someone read my post please? It's due to population booms. By the time anyone the age of 18-25 is old enough to be eligible for it, it will be gone. The population boom right now(The old timers) are getting ready to be eligible for it. Do you know how many people that is? There won't be a workforce big enough to support it, and it will dry up very quickly. [editline]01:29PM[/editline]
For sure, but there are programs destined to fail. Social security is sadly one of the ones that seems like it always was destined to fail.
TBH this isn't really racist.
Yes it is. He's turning a race and a word that has been used to insult members of that race for generations into a dumb political statement that he uses to make himself appear like a victim.
TBH this isn't really racist.
You're wrong Skwisgaar.
