Great, the dude hasn't heard of the fucking geneva conventions AND doesn't understand what nuclear weapons even do
Great, the dude hasn't heard of the fucking geneva conventions AND doesn't understand what nuclear weapons even do
he's heard of them, he just wants to get rid of them because not being able to torture brown people and slaughter their families is 'like tying our soldiers' hands behind their backs' which is even more disgusting
We are so fucked if he wins.
I think with all the serious retardation coming out of Trumps mouth over the past few days will pretty much seal the win for Hilary. Dont think there is much you can do there to be honest. At this point, all you can wish for is stability.
I'm not so hopeful. Seeing Trump's support numbers go up despite of or because of all the deranged things he spouts, I'm starting to think that there's nothing he can say or do short of endorsing Hillary that would damage his support. Entire Trump's run has been surreal experience for me and convinced me that I completely fail to understand the average voter.

That's the big reason they're backing the guy.

Isn't there an international document about mutually assured destruction? It said something along the lines of nowadays if you shoot a nuke your enemy has enough time to shoot their nukes and then you're both fucked. No winners.
If /pol/ or one of the "ironic" Trump subreddits existence isn't proof enough of people doing that exact thing.
Times like this really make me think we should raise the voting age back to 21 again.
I have no doubt in my mind that Trump would launch the nukes even if it'd cause the end of the world. He talks so much about how America HAS to win at everything to be great and he toys around with the "if you're not first, you're last" bullshit mentality, he would do it regardless of how many of his own people he'd get killed in the process just because he'd be able to sit back in some presidential bunker smiling and considering it a win to become the king of a blasted radioactive hellscape.
Coming from the world's biggest critic of Trump, listening to that video makes me really question the reliability of this. It's basically hearsay- the guy says that a couple of months ago, an unnamed person spoke to Trump and this occurred. Why did the story take so long to break? Combined with the fact that it's MSNBC, I'm skeptical. (Not that we need any more reasons to believe Trump is a dangerous person to have as a leader.)
Pretty much this. I Wouldn't think it would be implausible for Trump to act like that, but considering this is basically a "I heard from a friend" type of deal with absolutely no one else's word to back it up, combined with the fact this is coming from a news organization who is now known to be colluding with Hillary Clinton... Yeah I'm not buying it.
I truly believe that some are only voting for him because it's funny to them somehow, because he's a meme or whatever.
That's one of the biggest problems, so many people have so little regard for the real world that they'll vote in a madman because "he's got the dankest rare pepes" or some fucking shit. Completely detached and unhinged.

Nukes are always an option albeit they're at the very, very deep end for extreme scenarios. Realistically, it'll never happen, but it's better to have and not need than need and not have. My problem with Trump on this is that he'll probably bring that option much, much closer to execution.
I'm sorry, but was no one ever taught about "Checks and balances" when it comes to our government? He seriously can't just go pressing the big red shiny button willy-nilly. It simply doesn't work like that.

That you don't know the actual source doesn't mean there isn't one.

He has complete and final say in executing military operations The guy in the video even said that nuclear launches are designed with speed in mind, not debating.
Jesus, is he really that stupid? Like a little kid running for president.
I think if the United States or anybody used nuclear weapons the world would turn against them pretty fast.
I stand by the idea that as soon as someone uses a nuclear weapon, even against a small country that doesn't have them, then the world is absolutely fucked because it sets a very big and new precedent for all the countries that have them: They can (and will be) encouraged to use as intimidation against anything. And from there it's just a ticking time bomb.
You know, up until this point I foolishly assumed that Trump was actually an intelligent man masquerading as a fucking idiot to appeal to a a select voter group. I don't think that any more.
The president is command-in-chief. At the same time, all senior government officials, including the Speaker of the House, must be notified.

Presumably talking about Iran and Clinton respectively but still hilariously ironic.

At this point, I'm starting to think a third party may have a viable chance. If trump turns out to be such a fucking shitshow that he might actually start world war 3, then it might switch from "It votes for Hillary when its told or it gets the Trump" to "So, who else can we vote for, cause Trump sure as fuck isn't gonna win."

ignoring the hypocrisy, what the fuck is that even supposed to mean?
I think if the United States or anybody used nuclear weapons the world would turn against them pretty fast.
Might be able to see some real constitutional action. States might revolt
