I'm not sure what you are saying, but while his solution is unique, it isn't ground breaking. Calculations of projectile paths with air resistance already exists.
He solved an unsolvable equation. I don't know if this one will provide more accurate information but it goes to show that there is much we still do not know. Even though we discovered these things hundreds of years ago, I find it strange that we are only now rediscovering and understanding these things now.
It makes me wonder if had we kept written documents since the beginning of man, how fast would we have devoloped if he didn't have to rediscover or relearn things.

It's called home-schooling and your parents didn't do it because they wanted you to have a normal social life.
1) That argument is YEARS old, 2) Here's why it's wrong. Socializing is the first fucking thing you get in trouble for in school. You don't know how many fucking times, I've lost count, I've gotten in trouble for Guess what? socializing. I mean fuck, Liberals are horrible at arguing or even making a valid point.
Theres socializing, then theres lessons in which you pay the teacher some fucking attention.

It was derived in 1977 by a guy called Parker. So not really unsolved.
It makes me sad that I lack the determination to ever try figuring this out.

Hahahahaha oh man then you're doing something horribly wrong :v:
And dude how does this make me a liberal? Why are you reacting so aggressively?
The only thing I'm trying to point out is that everyone in this thread goes "Why didn't they teach me x at age 6", which is a stupid request because this is different for everyone, thus making it impossible to actually implement in a school system, where you try to teach a group of kids something which the majority understands.

or, you know, you can use that widely available network of computers that contains nearly any knowledge you can ever want and show some initiative
truth is we aren't as interested in learning as we want to believe we are

Theres a reason we want the schools to teach us this stuff earlier
BECAUSE WE"RE LAZY
I've read the article ~four times through, and I'm still not sure what any of this even really means.
Not quantum mechanics, so it's probably wrong.

You're implying that quantum mechanics is actually right however.
Plus, Newton's physics is actually correct at normal scale, and talking about QM at normal scale is ridiculous, QM only applies to subatomic particles.
