I wonder if we'll see Jack defeating the Portal Guardian in the reboot. The portal stopped the guardian from killing him by saying he's the worthy one

They need to call back to tons of characters and unresolved plot lines. Like, if The Scotsman isn't in this at all, what the fuck are they even doing.

I'm hyped for this, though 10 episodes sounds a bit disappointing. I hope they do a REALLY good job tying up loose threads. The scotsman, the portal guardian, Jack actually defeating Aku. There's still alot of unresolved shit. I guess they could always fill in the time gap if they want to produce more episodes. Explain how Jack lost his sword, got the gun and bike, etc etc.
Super hyped for this, just hope it isn't tonally different and still just as quirky. Going from Aku's storytime to Jack brutal murdering a village wouldn't be the best return to form I could imagine.
Seriously though goddamn Adult Swim. When I was a teenager I thought the station was trash that only ran edgy garbage and unfunny shclock. Now whenever I hear something good be it a cartoon or indie game they're attached to it. What happened?

I really hope they keep the slight goofiness. Honestly all this new Jack needs is some violence during the fight scenes but keep everything else. They don't need to add cursing or anything, just bring back Jack being a badass and overall a good guy that gets put into awkward and sometimes hilarious scenes.

Although, I'm genuinely concerned with how Aku would be voiced. Mako had such a unique voice. When he passed away, his pupil sounded decent as a replacement, but it just wasn't the same.

according to the comments on the link at the top of the page it's "Greg Baldwin. A student of Mako Iwamats. He took over the voice of uncle iroh for avatar when mako died."
I think Jack changed his opinions about technology over time to use everything he can to achieve his goal.
