I hope Latvia sends in the police, army and everything in between to escort these fine spetsnaz forces back to the border before Latvia joins the soviet union in the most clumsy land grab ever done. I guess they could be like 20 legit insane ultranationalists and not spetsnaz but i'm calling spetsnaz. If Putin says not cool then fuck him if he tries to secure a NATO country, then it's world war 3 and who gives a fuck at that point. If these kind of heavily armed totally inconspicious russian soldiers would popup somewhere here in finland they would get shot by the police, i hope.
The bad news is, if Latvia does not physically remove those soldiers from their borders, they're gonna have a bad time

I can't really pull numbers of the abused citizens though.

Okay. This has to stop. Seriously. Fuck Putin.
A few years back Latvia came here for a world hockey competition. Everyone liked the Latvians so much that the local paper even wrote an article about how nice they were.
I don't understand why you think the Nazis were socialist. Communism theory generally calls for the dissolution of national borders, dissolution of classes, and the common ownership of the means of production, And lot of communists (including Marx/Lenin) view socialism as a step to communism. The term National Socialism itself is an oxymoron, since having a strong national identity is generally seen as an element of a far right ideology. There is next to nothing that the Nazis believe in that is left wing, infact the Nazis banned Trade unions and supplied cheap slave labour (in the form of concentration camps), which is resoundingly anti-socialist.
So did the USSR even after Stalin died. And let's face it, the USSR wasn't Stalinist for it's whole existence. The GDR was extremely left wing and yet they allowed western firms to use their workers at wages way lower than the ones they had to pay for in the west.
There is next to nothing that the Nazis believe in that is left wing
Ownership of the means of the production by the state? -In this case, they controlled the economy- Putting the community above the individual? Capitalism, liberalism and religion are all the same shit and should be fought against? Their practices might fall into the left wing area, but of course, their ideology shared more with other right wing ideologies.
That's because Stalinism is just thinly veiled Fascism. If you're talking about Communism as Marx envisioned it, then it isn't really remotely close to Nazism or Fascism at all. Not to mention that the Nazis themselves were vehemently anti-communist, and socialist by name only.
That's probably why he said "two sides to the same coin," and not something else. Fascism and communism have many things in common despite being at the opposite ends of the spectrum. Hell, what do you think Marx meant by "dictatorship of the proletariat" anyway? Saying they're the same thing is ignorant, but much like love and hate they have common themes despite being the antithesis of one another.
Oh boy, here we go. Time to dust off the old guerilla gear. In all seriousness, this has not been reported by any of the major news sources here in Latvia, so I am really hoping this is a sensationalist over-exaggeration. If not, well shit. The situation here is ethnically unstable enough without the damn provocateurs. Being from Riga, I'd probably take part in any counter-demonstrations that would be held. Yeah, this can get messy real fast.
I wonder why Lithuania isn't on their list.
Because they know the Forest Brothers will kick their asses again if they try to do anything there.
I swear this "Self defense forces" joke Putin is trying to convince us is real will go down in such infamy, I'm expecting satirists such as Colbert and Jon Stewart using it for years down the line.
replace hitler with putin, the german armed forces with the russian armed forces and roosevelt with obama/any other western leader :v: [editline]a[/editline] and no im not serious
I can't imagine this ever going well. Fuck Putin and his lap dogs.
so soviet union colonised all the "satellite" countries with russian families so every eastern european country has lots of these tyke bombs that await for the opportunity to uprise. fucking stalin.
I can't seem to find anything about 'RusIntern' other than a website that's about studying formed in 2013, whereas this article claims it was formed in 2014? Seems like you guys are being fed bullshit. I'm Russian by birth, Ukranian/Belarus by origin, and Canadian by preferred citizenship. I'm staying my ass right here in Canada until all this shit blows over. This has nothing to do with ethnicity. It has to do with fucking batshit retard politics and dumbass mob psychology/pepping. All I have to say is this: My sympathies with the 100 (and possibly more) people in Ukraine that have died over this bullshit. Bullshit that was stirred both by pro-Russia and NATO political faggotry. The joke is on us.
Putin seems pretty suicidal.
It's actually a mix of Putin and the senators. I don't know about how Putin can claw his way out of his situation, but I can tell you that the senators are very NOT suicidal. You see, most of these senators have really expensive estates in the US. Their idea is to accomplish whatever fucked up shit they want, and to flee to the states happily ever after. To put it into simple terms: You're wondering how the Russian politicians can shit where they eat? Turns out they eat in the states, and shit on their "home" dinner tables. The US should kick these faggots out, destroy their citizienships, assets, deport them, and maybe Russia will start thinking as a real country again..

It's what turns out to be a union of Russian nationalist parties like "Rodina" (Motherland) and whatnot. They're incapable of anything, bunch of poseurs. Scaremongering.
