He must have mixed up "banning it" with providing "equal rights for those who happen to be homosexual."

Yeah. English is a tricky language, I can see how he screwed it up.
What? What is bad about homosexuality?
Well it sends you straight to Hell for one, so banning it would be a responsible action for the government to take.

How about reading my post for what it is instead of dancing around it because you know it's the truth.

Phew it's sarcasm, almost had me!

Government is secular.
Government is secular.
Because that's why we have "Under God" in our pledge of allegiance, the USA was founded as a Christian nation and IS a Christian nation no matter how much liberals want to deny it.

Ah I see his ways now.

You blew it, you could have led people on for 10 pages, but you got overconfident and became and obvious troll. But still, nice try 5/10.
Fuck them! Fuck them, everyone has rights. Why can't these religious people get this? Okay, if they win I say we propose a bill taxing the fuck out of the greedy religions.

5/10? Shit, religious zealots are so rare on FP and the internet as a whole, if you spot one, it's a good bet they're a troll. I give him a 0/10.

Well maybe I want to go to hell.
:colbert:
Obviously why I support abortion and homosexuality.

Oh yes let's encourage civil rights by taxing one group specifically, aren't you just a beacon of tolerance, "fuck them" indeed.

Just got off the phone with Satan.
He thinks you're failing at trolling.

Shit? Satan, that guy is mah fuckin homeboy, hows he been?
Just got off the phone with Satan.

Well that COULD be explained by the fact I'm not trolling, I just apparently have an unpopular opinion, but you people are just SO TOLERANT that this opinion must be suppressed at all costs.

He just bought a new condo. The left-hand path pays.

You're free to have your opinion. We're free to ridicule it.
What you're NOT free to do is suppress the rights of others.

Sorry, but you kinda of blew it with the going to hell part. Not even the wackiest zealot in the Bible belt would use Hell as a way to convince the secular internet. What's next? Offering congressmen a free trip to Atlantis?

Strange, considering you people are perfectly OK with taking the right to life of unborn babies away.

I am quite aware that once you remind them of the punishment for their sins they get quite defensive, but I firmly believe that leaving it unmentioned would result in an "elephant in the room" situation.

Why should an opinion that helps to get laws passed that remove or prevent rights for a certain group of people by tolerated?
i was expecting a catholic terrorism threat.
Strange, considering you people are perfectly OK with taking the right to life of unborn babies away.
Show me where, in the US constitution (or in any legal document of any country that allows Abortion (like Canada)) it states that an unborn lump of cells has legal rights.
This is definitely something jesus would do.
Oh well, time to suspend tax-free status for the church.

We already have a "troll under the bridge" situation, an elephant wouldn't do anything.
Strange, considering you people are perfectly OK with taking the right to life of unborn babies away.
I don't feel like explaining to you that for the first... I don't even remember how many months of pregnancy, the fetus isn't even alive, basically, so I'll suffice it to say that this world is headed to becoming overpopulated fast, and rather than let more people be born, I would see it as an acceptable moral sacrifice to let some not be born, to better the lives of those already alive, and better the lives of future generations through endeavors such as stem cell research.

Fortunately, the elephant in my room is about as real as the punishment.

True true. Unborn baby isn't a baby, hence unborn.
Why should an opinion that helps to get laws passed that remove or prevent rights for a certain group of people by tolerated?
For the same reason we attempt to rehabilitate criminals, because in the long run it will be better for them.

Last I checked an infant was still a person, and the constitution doesn't begin with "We the people" for nothing.

I said religions.
Well, if the bill passes, and they follow through on their threat, the government could just start forcing them to pay taxes, and use the tax money to provide the services that the church provided.
