Yeah, but I haven't immigrated have I? If people want to come here, they can adapt to our culture or fuck off, that's the way I see it. That's much more lenient than many other countries, specifically those of which a considerable amount of immigrants in the UK come from.
I've immigrated here and i for one can tell you, that when you're mocked and teased for being from a different country it does end up with you sticking to your little clique.
I've immigrated here and i for one can tell you, that when you're mocked and teased for being from a different country it does end up with you sticking to your little clique.
It is a circle, immigrants get mocked so form cliques, immigrants get mocked because they formed cliques. I am in charge of a large (100 people) sports club at university so have had to do all this equal rights stuff and is a nightmare as there is such divides.

I see no problem with just making it adequate for british culture and if people have a problem with it, they can't join. Urrgh, if PR was in place, UKIP would have got ~20 seats.
This is the reason my facebook has people posting this! Oh dear society, what happened? Sorry for the massive size.
These are some genuine quotes from people on my Facebook: "Omg i can't believe they cancelled Eastenders for Gordon Brown or whatever it is" and "Who gives a fuck about politics, it's not like whoever runs the country makes a difference anyway"
I wonder what shit is going to happen...
Well firstly I'm talking about the people on benefits who have about 8 children and who live on a council estate because getting a job would lower their income and would have to do somthing, Secondly I'm talking about the people can't be bothered to get a job not the ones who can't because atleast their trying to contribute to socity and not just leeching off the system. Thirdly I was reffering to Labours policy of allowing the lower classes to have more avaliabibity to Uni than everyone else, this means that those who are well educated and have a good understanding of the world will be denied education that would further nurture their talents while those who come from council estates and have a poorer education will be given further education that they don't need or don't deserve
People who have 8ish children, fair enough but they are such a small minority no single governemnt policy could root them out without negativly effecting people who seriously can't find a job, who number in the tens of thousands. If you live on benefits you can be bothered to get a job. they really are the minimum you can survive off. if someone really doesn't have a job because they 'can't be arsed' they have no concept of entertainment or pleasure. No one has more availability to uni than anyone. the scope of uni requirements and prices is wide enough to accommodate everyone. In fact the scope means that the best uni's are unavailable to people from poorer backgrounds so the current systems are unfair anyway. You also seem to be saying that people born into richer families automatically are better educated and have more natural talent than others. wealth isn't tied to your genes it's completely random. Anyone could have the most talent in any one subject regardless of social class. people from council estates don't deserve education? they're more deserving than anyone. they need this education to pull themselves out of the situation they're in now. to live a better life and join people living and working at a decent quality of life.
We're country notorious for going on holiday, getting blind fucking drunk and ruining whole towns with out sick excuse for holiday resorts.
You can just label that on any country. Your generalization stupid, the places that only usually happens if you bothered to look are in places with cheap locations and facilities.
"Omg i can't believe they cancelled Eastenders for Gordon Brown or whatever it is" and "Who gives a fuck about politics, it's not like whoever runs the country makes a difference anyway"
Please, please, please, please, for the love of god, tell me they were joking. If not please tell me there names so I can have words with them!
You can just label that on any country every country. Your generalization stupid, the places that only usually happens if you bothered to look are in places with cheap locations and facilities.
Well it happens pretty damn often and i never see and other nationalities doing it.
am I the only person who really admires Gordon Brown as a person?
Nope.
am I the only person who really admires Gordon Brown as a person?
I like his attitude "BIGOT THIS" "SHUT THE FUCK UP THAT!" *Throws phone and chair at someone*
It takes a couple of generations for people to be fully integrated. My Jewish family came her at the turn of the 20th century. They arrived in the east end, where all the other jews collected together. Eventually they came out of that ghetto and integrated fully. Black people have been fully integrated for a long time now, as have a lot of British asians. It's a process really. It shouldn't really happen but that's not the way it is I'm afraid. You can tell that it's happening though, because by 2020 mixed race people will be the largest ethnic minority.
So keeping to yourself is forcing a culture?
Keeping to yourself when you are living in the country for a long period of time is ignorant and rude and just down right disrespectful. Don't try a play of words here.
I find it sad, this thread is a good example of people who take the majority of their world view, and thus make their choices based entirely on Sky News and The Sun. And now people like me have to foot the bill because they got you hook line and sinker.

you would think the uk would have a less retarded system of getting new leaders
Well it happens pretty damn often and i never see and other nationalities doing it.
I seriously doubt you've even bothered to look. In Czech Republic its the Italians. In Spain its the Romians. In Germany its the Turks. The popular stereotype of the infamous British tourists comes from biased surveys carried out which focuses on package holidays destinations which attract the worst element of anyone. As long as tour operators and resort managers keep trying to create this "home from home" attitude to tourism, where the destination is unimportant as long as it is cheap, the alcohol flows and it is hot, you are always going to have the "worst" kind of tourist from every country. Ironically there is actually an article about the British people being very polite as tourists in other countries, its all about who can scream louder in the media.
First off, I'm all for retaining british culture, and I'm therefore all for capping immigration. Secondly, I'm not racist, you slander ridden shit. I do not like living with them because they constantly speak in chinese in front of me(which is very rude in my opinion), they group with other chinese people. It's like they aren't even there... but the mess they leave in the kitchen is. There is no communication with them, it's counter productive and not fun. I'd much rather some english people lived in those rooms, then I'd actually have a chance of making friends with them.
"I'm not racist, I just want everyone to be like me." There is no "british culture". There's no "american culture" either. All there is, all there ever is, is the culture of the people who live in the country at the time. And that changes daily, because you can't keep other people out of your country. And they will come. And your culture will change. And there will be odd looking brown people talking in different languages than yours and you can't stop it no matter how many piss weak limits you place on foreigners coming into your country.
look outside
Fuck off, my local area is whiter than white, except when you go further into the shithole people are white but with a faint covering of shit and grease.
He is in deep shit IMO.

My family all came from Ireland in the 20th century and had to also raise up in the streets of Liverpool, while a lot of the fathers fled to America leaving their children and wives behind. And back in those days people treated the Irish like the Poles or the Black and Asian immigrants, the same with the Jews.
you would think the uk would have a less retarded system of getting new leaders
FPTP had advantages, PR has advantages, AMS would be better but doubt it will come in. The debate between FPTP and PR will never be solved. I personally prefer FPTP.
Gotta back this shit up man with a reputable source.
I remember hearing it on a documentary on Channel 4 last year about wether mixed race people were likely to be healthier and more resistant to disease because their genes are more diverse (the evidence seemed to suggest that it did, but they said there wasn't enough research yet) also http://news.bbc.co.uk/newsbeat/hi/the_p_word/newsid_10000000/newsid_10000900/10000910.stm http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/article1295000.ece
Welcome to the Democratic Party of the United States. Just about every major health reform Congressional session involved some sort of heart-wrenching personal anecdote on behalf of the Democrats, one time involving bringing some poor disabled chap to the podium for all to see. That particular instance was very low. Using victims to shine the edges of their own image. Such is the incumbency.
Yeah, but then they had actual numbers to back that shit up. The anecdotes were to give the numbers meaning. "This is a starving african child and there are over 100 million others like him" is an argument. "This is Fred and he spends his money unwisely so people can't spend money wisely" is an anecdote.
Fuck off, my local area is whiter than white, except when you go further into the shithole people are white but with a faint covering of shit and grease.
your going to get married to a big black woman.
