Those whole arguments are utter bullshit anyway. Once we leave our atmosphere, we should represent ourselves as what we are - Humans. Colonial years are long past us. We should finally learn that this separatism doesn't lead to anything. We should try to cooperate, and if it's so hard on earth due to xenophobia, it should at least be possible in space. Nobody should claim that any space body is theirs - only thing that gives one a real right over such territory is military power, and we know very well where this leads. Lets get our shit together, throw away stupid flags, and help each other. Space travel is very hard and delicate in this stage. If we don't need something, it's rivalry. Yes, rivalry boosted space development during cold war, but that was because of fear. There are much better ways of progressing.
