I also don't understand the pointless "no using your cellphone while driving" laws. There was already a law for this in place. It's called Inattentive driving.
In Arizona more then 30% of car accidents are caused by idiots talking on cell-phones while driving.
Anyway, I'm interested in that trans fat law. Obviously, it couldn't work for bakeries our candy shops. Is it specific to fast food or something?
Trans fat is a unsaturated fat which is quite uncommon in nature, but are common in certain foods because of a process which extends shelf-life. They increase the amount of cholesterol and a lot of other bad stuff.
Great 40,000 more laws wasting our time, money and freedom :) (Some might be good) Some comments I looked over that are true... "We are the most over'regulated country in the world. Every little aspect of our lives is governed by laws, rules, ordinances and regulations. ENOUGH! Let people take responsibility for their own actions, and give us back the ¨Land of the Free¨, which has disappeared. I have a new law you should add to the list. How about a law to get rid of all the illegals in this country. You say they will have millions of job openings then. How about the folks on welfare and other social programs working the jobs that the illegals did. 40,697 new laws for 2010? How about one more added to the list and get rid of the IRS and have a FLAT TAX RATE so everyone can pay their fair share. Naw...that makes to much sence. ee whiz...freedom entails risk! How about that! The ¨Home of the Brave¨has become the ¨Home of the Person who Doesn´t Want to Take Responsibility For Anything and Would give up his Liberty for Safety¨¨ Lemme Outta Here!"
troll
raccoon12 is a burning homosexual scientific proof i win (User was banned for this post ("Trolling" - Greeman))
What is this? Why?
We already have it here, does kinda suck.
Same here. It's not really a problem. It's fairly uncomfortable to enjoy your time in a bar where's constant smoke flying around for most of people, even some smokers.
In Arizona more then 30% of car accidents are caused by idiots talking on cell-phones while driving.
Alright? What's your point? Talking on cell phones is inattentive driving, so why did they have to make ANOTHER law about it. [editline]09:39PM[/editline]
I can understand him wanting a smoking ban because someone else is affecting other people, but i don't understand where you're going with your examples.
You're choosing to be affected though. If you go to a restaurant where there is smoking, whose fault is that? Yours? Or the people who are smoking? Couldn't you just leave if you didn't like the smoke? I'm not sure how you're not understanding my examples.
What is this? Why?
Did you not read the argument everyone was having with him?
Did you not read the argument everyone was having with him?
He banned the guy trolling the troll
He banned the guy trolling the troll
why am i the troll and besides he wasn't trolling, just being an idiot
why am i the troll and besides he wasn't trolling, just being an idiot
Actually he was trolling and trotsky is right
Same here. It's not really a problem. It's fairly uncomfortable to enjoy your time in a bar where's constant smoke flying around for most of people, even some smokers.
Then go to a non smoking bar. There used to be a lot of them. However, most people who go to bars drink, and drinking and smoking go hand in hand together. In the end you are arbitrarily inhibiting a business owner's freedom to run their business how they want. It also gives an unfair advantage to Native Reservation Bars and Casinos, since they don't have to follow that law. So casinos and bars that aren't native are losing a lot of business while Native Reservations get even more power and wealth.
However, most people who go to bars drink, and drinking and smoking go hand in hand together.
Uhh. I don't think I've ever read that if you drink you gotta smoke. None of my friends smoke and they all drink.
so... which ones are the shitty ones that's gonna make people mad?
Alright? What's your point? Talking on cell phones is inattentive driving, so why did they have to make ANOTHER law about it.
Cause you need to be simplistic with some of the idiots in the world.
Do you seriously think being homosexual is a choice?
With the amount of bullshit homosexuals get I don't think anyone would choose to be :l

Turns out, it's been a great thing. More people go to bars who previously didn't Smokers tend to put up with having to go outside for a cigarette, they didn't stop going out like predicted. It's enouraged many people to give up smoking entirely or not take it up in the first place. There has been a year on year drop in smoking related conditions since it was introduced. The year it was introduced saw a drop of 17% in Heart Attacks. Which, considering Scotland has an appalling heart condition rate, is massive. The only problem it's introduced is that entrances to buildings are littered with stubbed ends, but it's a small price to pay imo.
40 697 more reasons not to move to America when I'm older. Gays make me uncomfortable. Why do they need to legalize marriages, they all believe their the only one in the village.
In California it is now leagle to ride a bike with out a bike seat. It was in our news papers...
Homophobe.
Gay lover.
Gay lover.
Your logic is infallible. Blacks make me uncomfortable. Why did they need to get rid of slavery, they all believe their the only one in the village. :downs: [editline]07:02PM[/editline] So just like you called me a gay lover are you gonna call me a "nigger lover"? Let's take this back to To Kill A Mockingbird. When it comes down to the individual rights of Americans, I will fully support them without a second thought.

For one, you changed the subject. And for two, being black is a race, being gay is not a race. And for me when it comes down to human rights, I couldn't fucking care less. The only reason gay marriage was legalized was because they persisted like the bunch of fuck ups of evolution they are.

Also, homosexuality is common in nature, and has been noted in over 1500 species, thus proving your "fuck up of evolution" claim. As for human rights, I couldn't care more.
Gay lover.
who isn't, they're usually hot. if they were straight, they could probably knock up 10 girls in a single hour without a sweat but they have a job to do, making sure human population dont go overboard.
Actually I don't find homosexuality attractive. Not to say that I'm repulsed, I'm not. Also that guy has a weird nipple.
Actually I don't find homosexuality attractive. Not to say that I'm repulsed, I'm not.
cause you need to be simplistic with some of the idiots in the world.
ABSOLUTELY NOT! If we protect complete idiots, then they will survive to pass on their idiot genes, and destroy our future. We will all be consumed by masses of drooling retards. :gonk: But seriously, the government is established to protect people's human rights and protect them from foreign powers. They have no business regulating our lives. These laws are generally ineffective, and would be redundant if people would just use a little common sense.

I understand what you mean, by the way. They have no moral right to dictate marriage.

If you didn't notice, I was being sarcastic in that section of my post. Besides, there must be a more efficient way than gas.
