There's definitely someone out there who does. Someone with such a weak stomach and emotional personality they'll feel a ridiculous amount of pity for people who behave less like people and more like animals, and who disregard the rights of others without remorse. Why anyone would feel mercy for someone else who would have no second thoughts about hurting them and the people they love is beyond me; they must be really naive. Anyway, good on this man. He's a hero. I hope he survives and can live to spend many more happy years with his granddaughter and the rest of his family.
Well, if you believe that all human life has inherent value, or if you view rape as a result of social/cultural circumstance, and not some inherent moral sickness on the part of the rapist, then feeling pity or mercy for these kinds of people isn't that hard to consider.
A shame he couldn't get the other two pieces of shit, but at least in prison the other two will be on the receiving end instead of the giving.

Because, taken to it's logical conclusion, that seems to be what you are saying.

Now you know so we need to kill you.

I can understand thievery, a man needs to eat. I can even understand killing someone during a robbery, you don't want to go to jail. But rape? You're just doing things because you want to now, and since you feel it right to put your want for sex over the want of another person to not have sex forced on them, I don't see why someone else who wants to see you killed for that should hold back and show any empathy when you have not. It really is as simple as, if you don't want to be killed, don't forcefully rape people. If you struggle with that last part, the world is better off without you.

Yes, someone who decides to rape is not going to get my sympathies for if he gets shot, but once they are shot, and running away (or otherwise no longer attempting to rape), then it makes no sense to want to kill them then. Catch them, yeah, but not kill them. If someone thinks it makes sense to kill them at that point, then to remain consistent they ought to think that they ought to be killed after the fact, when they are caught. Again, this doesn't entail leniency, just a preference of life over death, despite whos life it is.

God made men but samuel colt made them equal. Here's the proof. One elderly man against 3 young punks who want to rape his granddaughter. I think we all know how would this have ended should he had been disarmed. Yes, I'm happy that he had a firearm.
Anyone who says "GUNS ARE BAD NOBODY SHOULD HAVE THEM" is an idiot But anyone who believes the way guns are regulated and sold in the US is a good idea, is also an idiot
Anyone who says "GUNS ARE BAD NOBODY SHOULD HAVE THEM" is an idiot But anyone who believes the way guns are regulated and sold in the US is a good idea, is also an idiot
Please don't.

I'd rather have these fucks stuck with survivor's guilt, knowing it could end up crippling them mentally than have them dead, that's just the easy way out.
I'd rather have these fucks stuck with survivor's guilt, knowing it could end up crippling them mentally than have them dead, that's just the easy way out.
Assuming career burglars who would gang rape a teenage girl in front of her grandfather have some semblance of morality.
I think wishing more people died isn't a good thing. The only shame is that he got shot himself, and that this happened in the first place.
really sick of seeing overly sensitive retarded posts such as these, just shut the fuck up.
I could only think of this
I can't tell if you're joking or not
look at his avatar
I'd rather have these fucks stuck with survivor's guilt, knowing it could end up crippling them mentally than have them dead, that's just the easy way out.
I understand that sentiment, but I look at it this way. One of them won't be attempting to rape anyone....EVER again, and I definitely wouldn't cry if the other two met a similar fate. I hope those two survivors are punished to the full extent of the law.
Lol 20 years old and dead already, and for what?

It really is as simple as, if you don't want to be killed, don't shoot people to avoid jail. If you struggle with that last part, the world is better off without you. See what I did there? I don't think it's wrong that the guy who tried to rape another person died in the heat of the moment since the man was only trying to defend his family, and there really isn't any amount of force that is unecessary in a situation like that. However, if a person rapes someone, that doesn't necessarily mean that he/she deserves to die either. Yes it is an absolutely horrible and despicable thing to do to someone that most of us can't even imagine being the victim of, but there are greyzones, and i can see why some people symphatise with some of them. I do however feel that they should get a much stricter punishment than they do now and in some cases be locked away from other people, but I am not a psychiatrist specialised on the subject, so I don't want to dictate to much.
Hopefully the grandfather gets better, and the two surviving assholes gets twenty to life for their actions.
stay mad americanos (User was banned for this post ("trolling" - Orkel))
Reminds me of one of the Death Wish movies.

Jesus. I don't wish leniency upon them, I just don't wish death upon anyone. I understand he died, and I think it was better for him to die than to continue the act. But I most wish no one had died, and nothing bad had happened. The way I see it is the less people die, the better. You can call that naive but I think it's just sort of humane. I can motivate it too. From two perspectives. If you believe people are born evil then should we put them down? Do people who are born with a short temper or people who are born with an inclination to steal be exterminated? This seems a bit extreme to me. But if you believe people are the product of their environment, then do you not believe they are curable? If someone has been turned evil or immoral because of the way they were brought up, couldn't they be rehabilitated? And even if they can't be rehabilitated, is it their fault their upbringing or some other event in their life causes their mental instability that makes them commit crimes? Should we just execute people who do bad things? I don't think it's naive to actually think about questions like these instead of casting the death sentence upon anyone who has committed an injustice. And again, I don't feel pity on the one who died, or the ones who got shot. I'd just prefer for no one to have died.
wow I had no idea death wish vi was coming ou-
Reminds me of one of the Death Wish movies.
fuck
