Hopefully the grandfather gets better, and the two surviving assholes gets twenty to life for their actions.
If those guys live they should qualify for the felony murder charge. They were committing a felony when someone was killed, that killing is on them even if they aren't the ones who shot the dead guy.
But I most wish no one had died, and nothing bad had happened. The way I see it is the less people die, the better. You can call that naive but I think it's just sort of humane.
Sure, that's the optimistic way to look at things. Maybe people are good. Maybe everyone's got some sort of internal goodness that stops them from doing something horrible. No. Some people are shit. Some people will do horrible things and the very way they are means they will never be better than that. Say they survived - they go to jail. Fair enough, justice has been served. That doesn't mean that they're not a shit person and we should all miss them if they didn't survive? I will never have and never will say that a rapists death is a bad thing. If they survived, is it a shame they did? No, that's a better outcome than them dying. But that doesn't mean we should all think its great they did.
I don't think that is what Zenreon meant. If I understood it right, I think what he meant was something like: Is it a good thing that someone got shot and killed? No.
I actually think it's great there one less person in the world that invades houses and rapes teenagers.
really sick of seeing overly sensitive retarded posts such as these, just shut the fuck up.
It's not an overly sensitive post. Situations should always be dealt with as non-violently as possible. Obviously this was an extreme situation, and he wouldn't have been in the wrong if all three of them were killed (As he was right to stop them as fast as possible in the best way that he could), but suffering leads to suffering no matter who it is inflicted on. That's a basic law of human nature. Edit: Hurting people hurt people, these three young men weren't just born robbers and rapists. They were innocent children once as well. It's sad that the world we live in has the capacity to produce such violent people.
