that could very well be your fault :ironicat:
Come on Sigma, why do you always have to be that guy?
There's lots of that guys on Facepunch bro
Obama is one of the most respectful politicians in the country. Remember when he did not make any attack ads towards other candidates? Remember when he was respectful to Clinton while she told everyone that he was all talk and no game? Remember when he did not get rightfully mad when people called him a terrorist? With all the shit he has to handle, he has been shockingly nice.

what guy? I'm just saying "he's arrogant" is really super-up to interpretation and, qed, most people here aren't seeing it.
dont take me being snarky personally

He's just poking fun at the ridiculous rhetoric that was going around about the healthcare bill, and you yourself are not exempt from this. Hell, even in the post that you just made, you go on about how the bill institutes nationwide federal healthcare, when that is not what it does.
Also anyone who uses the world Fascist in a proper political argument that does not involve a fascist dictator should not be listened to.

this too
Also, I do not think the 30 days removal clause does not apply to naval and air strikes, and there are no actual troops in Libya. I think Obama did the right thing.

Also, holy fuck I am a Gold Member now this has nothing to do with anything sorry for the wasteful post.

Also the stimulus package had only one flaw, it was too small to successfully stimulate the United States economy. A lot of that spending was very useful as well, like road reconstruction, pot-hole filling, investments in green technology and subsidies for young entrepreneurial small businesses. Sure, there were a few bad ideas tucked in there, but it was chump change compared to what the US Government is capable of spending.
I've taken offense to a great deal of his speeches.
Oh shit a sense of humor after a long deal of stress from lawmakers fighting it out. :allears:
I've taken offense to a great deal of his speeches.
How?
When you combine the Social-Conservatism of the right, with the Government Controls of the Left what you get is Fascism.
And considering Romney did exactly what Obama was trying to do nationally with regard to healthcare, but on a state level it would seem to me that he has Fascist leanings, though probably not explicitly.
Fascism is the far-right hence its emphasis on corporatism and violence. You're thinking Nazism, which is barely left.
Six things that make me dislike Obama:
1. Passed an extension on the Patriot Act.
2. Failed to push worthwhile healthcare reform, instead giving us the mangled mess which we call the ACA.
3. Approved the central intelligence agency execution of a United States citizen in the name of anti-terrorism without a trial:
http://www.nytimes.com/2010/05/14/world/14awlaki.html?hp (debatable point, though)
4. Allowed Guantanamo Bay to remain open.
5. Allowed Bradley Manning to be held in a maximum security prison without a trial.
6. Of yet has failed to tell Republicans to fuck off.
And then, I sat on yonder cliff and awaited the herd of boxes to swarm.
As much as I don't like Romney, I don't find it very rational to care about his religion. I understand that many people are anti-religious and would prefer an atheistic president, but I don't all see religion as a factor in whether I would want them to be president, but I'd rather judge them based on their political philosophy and what the claim to want to do. Don't care at all about their personal life.
do you know what mormonism actually entails
believing in mormonism is equivalent to believing in alien abductions
He had to pass the Patriot act because of shit like a stand still.
I've taken offense to a great deal of his speeches.
That's because you're a fucking elitist.
do you know what mormonism actually entails

Dude, mormons believe that if you die, you get your own fucking planet
I'd want a piece of that action.

I'm not saying I like all the shit Obama does, or that I agree with all the things that he thinks, but really this is a decision between an average schmuck and a fucking raving lunatic.

They also believe that if you're Mormon enough your skin turns white and that the Garden of Eden was in Missouri and that Jesus sailed to America to preach to the Native Americans who's skin turned brown because they didn't believe in him.
Sound crazy to you?
you can pick and choose crazy parts of every religion mate......

Yeah, but to be fair, Christian mythology is already pretty crazy, we're just more numb to it. I wouldn't consider that any more crazy than a fundie that believes that all the animals in the entire world were within walking distance from Noah's house.

I'll give you 1 and 3(sorta) and 4 and 5.
2) Republicans ruthlessly gutted the thing, and he was being as bipartisan as he could be to silence the critics.
6) He's too nice and that's where a lot of his charm comes from. I would appreciate him telling them to back down though.
you can pick and choose crazy parts of every religion mate......
The book of Mormon was written by It's prophet looking through a "seeing stone" in a hat and having someone else transcribe the things he saw in it. He was a convicted con man.
I can go on and fucking on. This isn't picking and choosing, "mate".
Hey man don't be nasty like that!
Yeah, but to be fair, Christian mythology is already pretty crazy, we're just more numb to it. I wouldn't consider that any more crazy than a fundie that believes that all the animals in the entire world were within walking distance from Noah's house.
Yeah, that's fucking stupid. But there's believing in something fucking stupid that everyone else believes in, and going the extra mile to not even pass the standard of normal fucking crazy.
It's like the Homeless person who says, "No, I'm not just Napolean or Caesar. I'm Napolean and Caesar."
Most of the things you say Obama "caused" or "allowed" was out of his power to influence. He probably would not have done anything but nullify the Patriot act if he was not facing immense pressure from all sides. Also, it is not as if he hates Bradley Manning or something. I do not like what happened to him, but Obama is not personally responsible. He also can't close Guantanamo because of political pressure.
The current Healthcare reform was the most he could do with the fucked up Senate filibuster system.
He can't get too mad at the republicans because he needs to work with them to get shit done. One cannot stick to ideals and not do anything. Obama is an excellent politician for keeping his cool and compromising instead of telling everyone to fuck off and sticking to lofty ideals like the Republicans do.
Obama is not a magical wizard who can do anything he wants without getting lynched. Deal with it.
Hey man don't be nasty like that!
Nasty like God coming down in a physical form to fuck Mary, or nasty like wearing magic underwear to ward off disease?
like wearing magic underwear to ward off disease?
What?
What?
Did I not tell you this shit is fucking crazy?
"Romney-care" differs from this, as it is a state program, not a national program, meaning non-supporters have the ability to move to a different state if they prefer a more traditional healthcare system.
And you can move to a different country.
He's still against gay marriage, and he changed his views on abortion from pro-choice to "pro-life", he looks like the best out of the republicans, but if i were an American no way would I vote for him.
As long as his religion doesn't impair his political beliefs, sense of morality and ethics, and his ability to get along with others from a different religion, I could honestly care less if his religion is full of crazy ideas. He won't sign the Marriage Vow, when other candidates who are part of mainstream Christianity will. That should tell you enough about how any craziness of Mormonism isn't found in him as a politician.
