I'm pretty happy Australia abstained from the vote, I was honestly expecting us to vote No because we do enjoy brown nosing the US.

It's retarded how the only counter-argument was that it would "hinder the negotiations for a two-state solution". You had half a fucking century to work that out. Time for a different approach.

Really don't understand why the UK abstained. I'm pretty sure the majority of us are pretty pro-Palestine. Maybe just our government being cowards again.

Those who weren't already against Israel are gradually becoming so. All right, I've never really read to deeply into any of these news stories regarding Israel/Palestine, never learnt about it in school or ever even heard it crop up in day-to-day conversation.
