There is something terribly, terribly wrong with the world when a democratically elected government will quite frequently act in a way that, to the majority of it's citizens, is abhorrent.

It doesn't mention anywhere in the article that the US is pushing for extradition, just that his defence team has claimed it's likely in the document they wrote and posted on some site.

Nowhere does it state that the US is looking to extradite and try him, and it especially doesn't state they are looking for a death penalty. All you have are the paranoid ramblings of a guy who already fears every form of government.
