fuck obama
FP's growing up, glad everyone's not on the Obama bandwagon anymore.
Where do we start? Do we start with Snowden? Assange? What about Guantanamo? Or even the attacks on Pakistanis by drones? The continued bullying of foreign countries? Oh and the countless attempts at covering up controversies and sweeping atrocities under the rug.
And this is just what's observable to me as an outsider. I'm sure there is more that Americans could add to the list.
basically to sum it up, he's stomping all over what the US was founded on. every sane person i talk to fucking despises him
Well, the 'hypocrite' thing is true, but it also describes most American politicians anyways.
thanks for remembering me babe.
Just remembered that Obama got a nobel peace prize.
Boy was that a fuck up.

was that before the whole NSA thing.?
was that before the whole NSA thing.?
Boy, it was before he had time to unpack his bags in the white house
He can definitely be a hypocrite, but I think war criminal is a bit much
George Bush on the other hand...
The implications of the use of drones in Afghanistan and Pakistan are almost dystopian, aside from that they are simply escalating the issues further and further. Pakistanis and Afghanis are never going to forget what has been happening for the past few years.
Had Bush not been an idiot we wouldn't be in Afghanistan in the first place.
Regardless, that's no excuse for escalating the conflict further.
does anyone else think it's strange to call anything "(superlative) of the century" when we're only 13 years in
Had Bush not been an idiot we wouldn't be in Afghanistan in the first place.
Haha, yeah. If the Middle East didn't completely hate us before, they certainly do now.
Drones didn't escalate anything
Yes, daily "precision" strikes that have 70+% civilian casualty rates certainly aren't escalating anything.
was that before the whole NSA thing.?
It was before he did anything at all, if I'm not mistaken. He got a peace prize based on promises and feelings.
Drones aren't responsible for the 100,000 dead Civilians in Iraq.
They will be.
Drones are a highly cost-effective method of murdering people in foreign countries, and because of that they will usher in the future of absolutely perpetual warfare, since no American lives need to be risked in order to kill others.
It's kinda hypocritical he is demanding americans to cut down on CO2 emission when he atm is traveling around with airforce one which is a Boeing VC-25 that uses a ton of fuel and ofc tax payer money
You're delusional if you don't think we haven't been engaged in constant warfare already, we've been fucking with other countries since the 50's.
Earlier. While they're not countries, the U.S. bombed pacific islands to hell and back when nuclear tests started ramping up.
That doesn't make the shit Obama's doing okay.
I agree. But if you're going to declare "War Criminal of the Century", you cannot ignore the person who scammed us into the Iraq war.
You're delusional if you don't think we haven't been engaged in constant warfare already, we've been fucking with other countries since the 50's.
Is that seriously the basis of your argument? That because the US has been wroughting misery all over the planet for 60 years that it's suddenly OK to start indiscriminately killing people with robots without personal risk? Obama ran on the platform of change and reform, he's absolutely failed to deliver any of it, and he and his military leadership have essentially ushered in the next stage of human warfare. I'm not saying that bush wasn't a fucking shit president (he was), he, reagan, nixon, truman, they were all fucking awful. But obama got elected purely on the premise that he would break the patern, but he absolutely didnt.
does anyone else think it's strange to call anything "(superlative) of the century" when we're only 13 years in
You're right. He's the hypocrite of the MILLENNIUM.
does anyone else think it's strange to call anything "(superlative) of the century" when we're only 13 years in
They should just call it "(superlative) of the decade" because I'm sure there may be a new US president later that may be worse than Obama
She makes a decent point and I agree with her on it, but she's ULA and a nutter.
Yes, daily "precision" strikes that have 70+% civilian casualty rates certainly aren't escalating anything.
Most statistics I've seen estimate 10-20% civilian casualties at most, compared to 50-75% with troops on the ground.
It might not seem like it with the fear that many politicians exacerbate and prey upon but thanks to drone strikes and intelligence work both the Taliban and Al-Qaeda are a fraction as powerful as they were ten years ago. Even just the threat of drone strikes has been one hell of a deterrent for civilians who might consider aiding or joining insurgent groups.
I'm going to say it, Obama is the third worst president in US history. Right after Wilson.
No one can beat Hoover, though. He's worst of the worst.

obama has made some shit decisions, but he's made some decent ones as well
calling him the third worst president in US history?
thats insane
fuck it I'm just not voting for anyone anymore
So when did Facepunch go from pro-Obama to anti-Obama?
...I still like Obama. :v:
I'm going to say it, Obama is the third worst president in US history. Right after Wilson.

Yes because Richard Nixon was totally a good guy and doesn't deserve to be in the list of terrible presidents before Obama.
It's not Obama, it's congress we should be blaming.
Obama is literally hitler.

Woodrow Wilson was a bad president? Maybe my U.S. History is a bit creaky, but I haven't heard that one before. What did he do that was so bad?
Don't mind us lads, we're just the arsehole of Europe. But it's our arsehole! And long live it and all the arseholes on it!
