It begins. No idea where my parents are. My Mom is suppose to be working at the hospital and my Dad was going ahead to drop her off. It's been well over 2 hours since then. I hope they are alright.

The Rain is slowly passing Philadelphia now. We're all safe now, and I can sleep tonight with no worry even though it might continue on into the night.
The winds were very strong though. Two years ago when we had wind like this, It threw our glass patio table into the air and shattered it into countless pieces. It was scary shit...
North of VA beach is fine for right now. The carnage starts in a couple hours.

Irene has taken 10 American lives so far.
Not too bad in south eastern Pennsylvania yet. Although from the looks of most charts we are going to get the bad stuff Sunday.

North Carolina had 5, Virginia had 2 and the newspaper didn't report where the last took place.
Isn't Irene a Category 1 (the weakest category)? I mean, it won't be that bad will it? I guess the big thing is that it's going into immensely populated areas and the damages will be crazy, but i don't think that many people will die...except people that are stupid and stay even though they're told to leave.

Still alive. I got pretty worried when they said a tornado might hit near my town.
Nothing happened here Northwest of Baltimore... People over-react. The folks on the coast, that must have sucked though.
