Blimey, imagine if the asteroid was a week or so earlier (or is it later? ), it would have been a direct hit on us...
So are there any pictures / videos of it?
Seriously, Spree? Only if it hits giant cities? Let's see what'd happen. Hits open land: Throws huge amounts of dust and debris into atmosphere, potentially causing at least a partial 'nuclear winter' in the surrounding area. This area could be as large as a continent. Plant life in this area will die off and unless outside help is rendered the area will be rendered inhospitable from the cold and lack of food. Forest fires will also be ignited on such a large scale that they cannot be contained, and will rage out of control, further fueling the nuclear winter by adding smoke, soot, ash, and more dust into the atmosphere. Hits dense city: Same as above, except with more immediate loss of human life and infrastructure. Could potentially cause meltdown of nuclear power plant if the city operates one, which would further increase the effects of the ensuing nuclear winter. Hits ocean: Will not cause any nuclear winter, but the impact and subsequent effect on the water will cause widespread, massive tsunamis that could travel for tens if not hundreds of miles inland.
Yes, nuclear power plants TOTALLY cause nuclear winter.

Are you retarded? If a plant experienced a full melt down it would explode and send dust debris and radioactive material into the atmosphere further contributing to the already present effect of nuclear winter. Learn to fucking read. [editline]8th November 2011[/editline] @jet
guess he really doesn't like blacks
nah africa's just a shithole and there's nothing of value there so it'd do less damage of course there's dust but that would be a problem no matter where it would hit
nah africa's just a shithole and there's nothing of value there so it'd do less damage
yeah the rich history, culture, landscapes, and wildlife has absolutely no value at all
that's a bullshit argument, there's rich history/culture/landscapes/wildlife everywhere
But what if it hits the moon?

that's a bullshit argument, there's rich history/culture/landscapes/wildlife everywhere
And Africa's is quite different from every other culture, as is every culture to each other.
that's a bullshit argument, there's rich history/culture/landscapes/wildlife everywhere
That's the whole fucking point. You are a bad person if you think that any populated continent deserves to be destroyed more than another
Imagine if it hit Yellowstone. :suicide:
So has it passed yet
nah africa's just a shithole and there's nothing of value there so it'd do less damage of course there's dust but that would be a problem no matter where it would hit
Man I sure hope it hits your house and only effected your house only Your house is just a shithole and there's nothing of value there so it'd do less damage [editline]9th November 2011[/editline]
Imagine if it hit Yellowstone. :suicide:
ra ra rasputin
