Are you fucking kidding me. I wanted to see this movie. God dammit, another reason to add to my "religion is pointless" list. Wow.
Regardless of religion, I'd like to see it and it is an infringement of freedom of speech to not allow it to be shown. [editline]11:57PM[/editline]
I mean I'm Christian and all but I still wanted to see it. People should be able to entertain an idea without accepting it.
My exact situation.
Yeah I don't imagine america being so high and mighty in the next 100 years. its been a empire for a good 75-80 years around after the end/start of ww2 we could be called a empire eating and sticking are nose into everything. Every empire ends, we will problem end up like england, a x-empire less war hungry, and less expansive and more peacefull. Too bad this won't be in my life time. I am now pissed OFF at my country and will not pledge to it for a month. I will still do the pledge for texas though....
America isn't an empire.
how did i know fp would go batshit over this it's just a movie
How is that a bad thing?
When did I say it was?
America isn't an empire.
That is debateable: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Empire
When did I say it was?
Are you dense? "Too many" is a bad thing. But okay.
y'all must have failed the reading portion of the SAT
Fuck you Thom, you're starting to piss me off.
Wasn't it obvious I meant it in the nicest way?
61 percent of people are willfully ignorant fucktards? Goddamnit...
61 percent of people are willfully ignorant fucktards? Goddamnit...
Not necessarily willfully.
Okay, Canada is Europe now. You guys over there fine with this?
Not necessarily willfully.
:allears:
Oh my fucking jesus, I don't fucking believe this. Seriously, the US has the freedom of religion and freedom of choice amendments. If you don't want to watch it, just don't. Whining christian bastards. This is also one of the reasons I converted.

I'm a US citizen, And I love you. Seriously, I HATE the current condition of most US citizens.

[editline]11:57PM[/editline] My exact situation.
It's not being BANNED. Goddamn. Freedom of speech is a non-issue here. It's merely the fact that it doesn't have a publisher willing to take it, and even then it's only because it's not economically viable (which I guess says great things about the American public :\ ). This is christianity's fault in an indirect way. It's much more the fault of stupid publishers.
If Religulous did ok in the US, I think a Charles Darwin movie can be digested.
darwin sounds boring as hell, atleast religulous was funny
ok thats it! now religion is fucking with our movies! time to kick ass a chew bubble gum, and I'm all out of gum.
lol too many atheists on the internet
Like too many idiots on the internet. I don't give a shit if somebody is atheist or not, as long as he can calmly say why he does he see the things by his way, without offending others.
Like too many idiots on the internet.
I think I read clearly, and I read part of the OP, if so the OP contradicts it's self.
Yes, that would be the publishers saying "too controversial". Who did you think was saying it?
I love how religious nuts judge everything when clearly it's written that God will do the judging when the time comes.
christians are allowed by their god to judge non-christians
Yes, that would be the publishers saying "too controversial". Who did you think was saying it?
obama
This is sad.
