That's not exactly a fair image to invoke. Wanting more state rights doesn't make you a proponent of slavery.

Having states rights however, leads to a bunch of bad apples getting into power. And that leads to shit like human rights being thrown away.
Conservativism: Because Universal Healthcare is big government and therefore bad, but banning gay marriage is totally not big government at all.
Conservatives are decent people most of the time. It's the Conservatives on TV that are shitting on everything.
how can you be a good person if you vote for pro-war, homophobic, racists, who want to force their religion into government, tell people what they can and can't do with their bodies, and don't really care for the people

And the schools while at the same time slashing their budget to basically nothing.

So does a strong central government.
I don't see your point. Bad apples can get into power in any system. In fact less central power means that even if bad apples get into the system the amount of damage they can do is limited.
If she does this, this won't be sustainable by any of the charities for anything more than cuts and scrapes. Major surgeries are in the hundreds of thousands of dollars. hell, even certain minor surgeries are roughly $100,000.

Obama is pro-war, wants to tell people what they can and can't do with their bodies, and may or may not really care for the people.
You can vote for someone without sharing all their views. You vote for someone because the opposition is worse in your opinion. At least in the American 2 party system.
She makes me ashamed to be from Minnesota, I would like to make it clear that she DOES NOT represent Minnesota whatsoever and the only reason she ever made it to state representative was because of dumass anoka county.
All titles referring to Michelle Bachmann should just be named, "Michelle Bachmann: Did/Said Something Stupid"
Michelle Bachmann I do enjoy your comedy campaigning, I wish you the best of luck in succeeding everywhere by bringing smiles to everyones faces at your goals and your views.
I don't get why Republicans bitch about this so much. The US system is only about a half step away from UHC anyways. Most doctors already provide free healthcare to needy patients. Why not just have the federal government take control of reinbursing doctors?
Surprise surprise, it's Congress's fault again. There's been a bill proposed a couple times that's pretty similar to Canada's health care system (which is pretty good, from what I hear), but it's either been ignored or voted down since it was proposed in 2003. You can bet that anyone trying to propose it in the current political clime would be pretty much laughed at, seeing as how well the previous health care bill went down.

As a Canadian I can say it is pretty good, it ain't perfect but it gets the job done and it works, but your conservative politicians seem to be in denial of this fact.

Kentucky is full of backwoods retards, letting us govern ourselves is like giving a moron a gun and saying "Pull the trigger in your face if you hate socialism"
It's like when she was staring at that lady learning her question, she was thinking something completely different. I almost stopped watching just because of that stupid stare.
Most of these people are Christian Conservatives. Does this sound very Christlike to you?
“If this is going to be a Christian nation that doesn't help the poor, either we have to pretend that Jesus was just as selfish as we are, or we've got to acknowledge that He commanded us to love the poor and serve the needy without condition and then admit that we just don't want to do it.”

Begging before communism!!!!
All the people I've met IRL that are against Health Care reforms all say "I don't wanna pay for some poor guy, it's their fault for failing school"
Don't they realize we already pay for poor people's health care? It's called Medicaid.

People that are against healthcare don't have the mental capacity for thought or sympathy, so it's pointless to argue with them as they're completely retarded.

Oh man. That's fucking perfect.
Anyone who says an opinion can't be wrong has never met Bachmann.
