It's called a Pebble (minus the OLED screen)

Though it's more of an extension of your phone.
I have a pebble and it's great, it also makes changing songs in the car safe!
*Ring ring,
My Wristphone is calling. Looks like the future of telephones is here. But the question is, if that thing have camera, it would be very awkward to take a photo with it.
I predict by the beginning of 2020, wristphone would be a common sight
My phone makes phone calls, and making phone calls is the last thing I would do on it
The long-term intention is most likely for replacing your phone.

Wish I had a pebble, sucks that they can ship to any place in the world except for germany.
For fucks sake germany has a huge amount of people who want an pebble yet they can't allow it?
I've got the Sony Smart Watch 2 for my Galaxy Note 2. I really like it; I won't lie, at first I a lot of my friends sort of teased me about it since they thought it was the most useless gadget I could by. They've changed their mind though after seeing it in action and how useful it is--especially when you're driving. I've never been one to use my phone while driving; however, I still like knowing what people are saying to me. My SW2 was the perfect solution to reading my messages while I'm busy with other things such as driving.

I hope this doesn't take off. We don't need retards reading messages while driving.

step it up neptune
I don't get it, what's the real benefit of having both this smartwatch and a smartphone? I don't understand it, they both do the exact same thing.
I think these things are kind of stupid, I'd rather have a nice looking wrist watch.

As said a few times now, the goal of smartwatches is to replace your smartphone.
Or at-least the "smart" part of smartphone, so you have a dumbphone with insane battery life and a smartwatch charged once in a while.
I know a girl who has a phone case like this. She never uses it, ever.

You don't think anyone does that now? It's a lot safer to glance down at your wrist for a second than it is to fumble for your phone, then unlock said phone and read the message.

You shouldn't be doing neither.

I got one of these for the soul purpose of it being a watch. it was amazing. you set it up to show the clock on startup and it worked fantastically.
All you needed was a felt or whatever you had watch band that was solid. Affix to your wrist, clip on the ipod, bam. Music player, watch, radio. SMOOTH.
