There hasn't been any trouble integrating people from other EU countries such as Finland, Poland or Germany (or not a significant amount of it) with the current Swedish immigration policy and treatment of immigrants. However, when it comes to handling people from Muslim countries, there has always been a problem, in practically every western country where muslims are emigrating to. It is very unlikely that the way the mostly of muslims consisting immigrants are treated by the government is turning them into criminals. They most likely already had the intent to act as criminals and to profit of the generous welfare system in Sweden than to do honest work like the Germans, Poles and Finnes. A natural solution to this problem would be to turn them away at the border. But I don't see that happening any time soon with the current Swedish government. Or while Cecilia Malmström is still a commissioner in the European parliament, who would love to shove more cultural enrichment down everyone's throat.
