Of course Greenland is free.
I don't think there is anyone there to oppress.
I don't think anyone would want to leave their well-heated home to do the oppressing.
This is bullshit, it doesn't account for all the mental slavery they're doing. You don't know that you're mentally enslaved.

They are oppressed by the cold.

Who what
I never realised that Russia had territory between Poland and Lithuania
Yes, and that territory is one of their more precious ones. There they pump oil, have missile defense system and possibly nukes.
Koningsberg should be split between Poland and Lithuania, anyways, since cultural reasons.
The world is getting less free
Because your frame of reference is too small. 7 years isn't enough to see a trend, and the world keeps getting freer every single century.
I like how Mongolia is a bastion of freedom in Asia.
This map really shows how much more work we've to do until we can safely say the world is a good place, freedom is some serious stuff.
But the governments aren't doing enough, and it could be fixed so easily. I mean, America is like the number one in freedom-making. Why don't we send some freedom over to the third world? 1 Billion freedoms sounds good enough, that would pull up the overall % right?
There is alot of conflicting data across these freedom reports. In alot of other reports Israel is worse than China yet in this report Israel is free.

Probably not going to happen. Kaliningrad has a Russian population of 86% (770,000), a Polish population of 2,000 and a Lithuanian population of 9,000.

I don't think Freedom House is credible if they think Burma has more Freedom than China. There is a fucking insurgency/war in the country that is still controlled by dictators.
Ukraine :(
Russia :((
Ukraine claims to be a buffer but they seem to be finlandizing.
This is partly European fault as well. I don't see them going for Ukraine and Belarus aside from the usual routine; all chitchat, no action.

An obsolete idea. The place is mostly Russians now. It's better for them to set up their own state since these Russians always look West instead of to Moscow.
