There's nowhere in the constitution that says "separation of church and state".
Which is what nobody educated is claiming, that said; it is implied, and is how the laws in the constituion are applied...
"Separation of church and state" (sometimes "wall of separation between church and state") is a phrase used by Thomas Jefferson and others expressing an understanding of the intent and function of the Establishment Clause and Free Exercise Clause of the First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States. The phrase has since been repeatedly used by the Supreme Court of the United States.
Most satanists are really just atheists trolling Christians.
Most atheists that are satanists are doing it because it's often the only way to get religious protection without compromising atheist "core principals".
Great, now the right-wing blogosphere will light up with people ranting about those radical ACLU atheists destroying a sacred monument.
God forbid we respect other people's beliefs =~)

I respect people, not beliefs.

God forbid we not shove our beliefs in everyone's faces and then get upset when there's a backlash.
Probably wasn't even an atheist that had a problem with it. Probably some Frat kid that thought it was funny and drunk or high I'd bet.
Things as vague as the ten commandments/divine law should hardly even be considered unconstitutional. If you take the conceptualization of God/Elohim/Allah/Yahweh/Jehova as it's meant to be understood I don't see how you could be offended by it.

Or someone who was batshit insane:
Officials said the suspect, whose name has not been released, ran his car into the monument at about 9:00 p.m. Thursday night, reportedly saying that Satan made him do it. Oklahoma City’s KOCO news station reported that the suspect also threatened to kill President Barack Obama and said he urinated on the monument before knocking it over.
