This is the same dumb fucking argument used for violent video games.
"It promotes the action, let's ban it!"

man jailed for watching cartoon pornography [sub]and previously having molested a kid[/sub]
So, if I run somebody over in GTA it's right to jail me just because I already had my time in slammer for stabbing somebody for real before?
boku no pico, not even once
Animated child porn is still child porn. I dont see any reason to change the law just so pedophiles can have legal jerk off material.
...any reason pedophiles shouldn't have legal jerk off material, Mr. I Have The Moral High Ground? Real CP is illegal because it harms children. Not because it's "pedo fap material". I won't even try to argue that generally people like the drawings but not the real thing because they have literally nothing to do with each other.
Cartoon images of child abuse were a "huge" problem in Japan
Uh-huh. Which is why Japan's child sexual abuse rates are so high-- Oh wait.
Idiots claim it leads to child abuse without any evidence, their argument is essentially "The absence of evidence, is not the evidence of absence." As an example it would be similar to, "This is an image of drawn child abuse, even though it isn't real, we have to consider it legitimate child abuse."
Out of curiosity, are they actually "idiots without evidence" because I've never really looked into it

I assume that /d/ is some part of 4chan...? Also what's the fuck is mlp and snuff porn? I would rather not to google it.

mlp = my little pony
snuff porn = a porn video in which someone is killed
shit like that makes me want to not touch anything on the internet ever again... maybe someone will jail me for something 5 years from now
mlp = my little pony
snuff porn = a porn video in which someone is killed
That's not what snuff is. There yet has to exist a proven snuff video.
That's not what snuff is. There yet has to exist a proven snuff video.
That's exactly what it is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snuff_film
whether it has actually happened or not is irrelevant

Yes, he's already been charged and convicted of fucking the kid. That's done with now.
oh man I had to do a paper arguing about why cartoon pornography is okay and why it doesn't lead to pedophilia or deviancy
and it is definitely okay
I definitely enjoyed that research paper
elves, pixies and other fantasy creatures having sex.

"to migrate from there to the real thing"
Pixies and fantasy creatures are under threat from real-life sexual abuse folks. thank god they quickly detained this man before he could victimize these nonexistant beings
Whoops. Better delete that 2gb hentai folder before the cops get me.

Donkey punch movie. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donkey_punch
That's the exact same thing as sentencing someone to jail/prison time, convicting them of a felony, for possessing Meth, because you caught them smoking pot and say it'll lead them to eventually doing Meth
Yes, he's already been charged and convicted of fucking the kid. That's done with now.
Recidivism always gets taken into account when getting arrested for similar offences.
This is still beyond silly though.
mlp = my little pony
snuff porn = a porn video in which someone is killed
/d/ would be one of the better boards if it wasn't for it's subject matter. As it is, it's generally less horrifying than the main boards most of the time.
mlp = my little pony
snuff porn = a porn video in which someone is killed
Seems snuff is some weird shit. Also I meant to rate informative not zing.
I need to watch this cartoon porn in order to establish whether or not this sentence is legitimate.
Seems snuff is some weird shit. Also I meant to rate informative not zing.
its also probably not actually ~a thing~ so i wouldnt worry about it
Didn't someone else get arrested for Simpsons porn like years ago?
Didn't someone else get arrested for Simpsons porn like years ago?
I'm pretty sure the reasoning behind that was something along the lines of "cartoons are people".
So I guess someone could draw like a shitload of babies and claim child benefits since they are people.
And as soon as we find a real pixie/elf, you'll have a point.
Seriously though, I get what he's trying to say, but he's being an idiot.
I'm going to go get me some tight ass elven tail. See you all in middle earth or some shit.
I'm going to go get me some tight ass elven tail. See you all in middle earth or some shit.
The guy didn't get charged because it was fantasy porn depicting an elve/ he was arrested because the cartoon figures depicted pre pubescent genatalia.
Japanese animes are a gateway porn.
Something drawn should not be taken serious in a court of law, it's art, even if you don't agree with it.

That still should not be illegal and is not illegal in most places, unless New Zealand is for some reason radically different.
I think any image of a child and/or children should be illegal. I don't like other peoples' kids, and would consider it a major personal victory to not have to see pictures of them staring vacantly into the camera while some drooling gramma dotes over them.
