Trump finally reveals his brilliant plan to defeat ISIS (he doesn't have one; ask the generals)
The fact that "Default on national debt" isn't something you, Chonch, or RIPBILLYMAYS are even remotely upset about with is fucking mindblowing.
Default? Not quite, in fact he seems to be advocating for just the opposite.
First of all, you never have to default because you print the money, I hate to tell you, OK?
Now printing money is a totally different can of worms that I don't want to address here, but he has the right idea; we can't just default. The debt's a really interesting situation. From what I can tell, I think he would like to put into order a sort of "restructuring" plan where--in an improving economy like where we are now--we refinance some of our debt to more long term issues before the interest rates start to rise, cutting down the nominal debt over time and making it a little easier to pay off.
(Using extra spaces for emphasis, I would like to point out this would in theory save taxpayers billions of dollars in interest payments)
If Yellen can get off her hag ass and bump up the rates, this strategy might not go so well, especially if we have to issue new debt, but it certainly wouldn't be a world-ending scenario. Things would likely continue much the same, save for a little inflation. I think that could be good for the U.S., and certainly I hope Paul Volcker lives to see it start; I'd love to hear what he thinks.
I'll freely admit I am slightly interested in seeing what would happen in a post-default world where the Treasury is no longer the prime risk-free issuer of the world (technically, it never has been). If it wrecks the bond market, it might actually make equity investment more attractive. I don't think anyone is really going to make that happen this season though, so it's just a neat thing to think about for now. [sp]DISCLAIMER: I do not, and have not ever held any Treasury securities, and so I would not be directly affected by any damage a default might do to the bond market. I am not a registered representative, this is not investment advice.[/sp]

tl;dr I'm not remotely upset, but I am more-than-remotely interested for various reasons

Good. This is part of why america has been (or at least used to be) so successful. We shouldn't even have troops in the middle-east imo. Just because he's an isolationist doesn't mean we won't help and assist allies if they genuinely need our help
So less taxes for everyone is a bad thing now? If you're complaining about how the rich get a bigger tax cut, that's a good thing. The people who are rich worked for their money and don't deserve more taxes just because they're more successful than others who didn't work as hard

[editline]7th September 2016[/editline]
So you want a combination of hyper inflation from the government and a default? The worst of both worlds it really would take Trump to think that's a good plan
I offer POTUS Trump my services ... to resolve those problems swiftly
it will come at cost ...
it will make happy all military branches and secret organizations
budget will survive it (if not we can just inflate it again)
some allies too (better than US right)
OSN, World and Russia might end shocked but they will finally learn theirs place
as bonus I can promise we will conquer other stellar objects ...

It seems most of the businesses he owns are either failed ventures or just an instance of him naming everything after himself, as most of them make less than $200 in revenue:
Ok I picked "Trump Books LLC" out of the list at random and the only references I could find were some business registration details. It doesn't have a website.
It looks like the source of your amazing info-graphic is here:
http://qz.com/461688/a-list-of-everything-donald-trump-runs-that-has-his-name-on-it/
"A list of everything Donald Trump runs that has his name on it"
Great effort on the research though, I'm sure it was extremely difficult to save the image onto your desktop and post it in arguments without having to actually do anything on your part! You're a true testament to human beings everywhere; reading shit on the internet and believing it like its gospel and then spouting it from the rooftops without actually checking anything.
Here's a great resource for further learning! http://blog.journalistics.com/2010/five-ws-one-h/
Who: The info-graphic covers Donald J. Trump however the author of said piece is unknown.
What: The number of businesses he has his name plastered on regardless of failure/success. This seems to run contrary to the title of the info-graphic, in this instance being "List of Donald J. Trump's successful businesses"
When: No date has been attached to this source, but at first glance it appears to be a retrospective glance of businesses his name has been attached to. It appears there are many shell companies in the list. Usually dates without sources are considered poor or at the very least unreliable. In this instance we can tell that it probably dates from around the time of the run-up to the 2016 election due to the patriotic styling of Donald J. Trump's name.
Why: It looks like he has his name attributed to so many businesses because he is trying to avoid paying taxes in part or whole and/or has a lot of legal issues regarding the ownership of ventures that he is involved in. Further research may be necessary on this point.
Where: This info-graphic does not seem to share any information regarding the location of registered businesses which could particularly relevant when trying to determine jurisdictional information.
I always like to go by the 5 Ws and then throw in the H for extra due dillegence:
How: Copy + Paste from QZ.com so idiots can save it to their desktop for extra easiness without having to do anything by themselves.
By looking even further I found this amazing document!
http://2016election.procon.org/sourcefiles/trump-financial-disclosure-form.pdf
Trump 106 CPS LLC - Income of Less than $201
Trump 845 LP LLC - Income of Less than $201
TRUMP 845 UN GP LLC - Income of Less than $201
TRUMP GOLF ACQUISITIONS LLC - Income of Less than $201
By cross-referencing this PDF (of unknown validity) with your info-graphic and noting the source was some shitty article on qz.com we can note that Trump actually owns/runs/is involved with a lot more businesses that don't feature his name.
I'm sure if I bothered to spend even more time I could prove that your info-graphic is bullshit. You dolt.
Still, I think it still has anti-missile weaponry, and even if it hasn't advanced much, they still have a lot of manpower, and I can see Putin using the same strategy as Stalin.

Obama halved the national deficit we were left with after Bush.

In fact, more than half, about 3 quarters around this year.
Trump has probably backpedaled, lied and more openly deceptive than Hilary, tbh. In fact, once of the main things his proponents usually argue on this site is that he doesn't really believe what he is saying and is really just saying stupid shit to get people to vote for him (which is apparently okay when he does it).
You don't have to take my word for it, Trump has objectively lied more times than Clinton:

You also didn't address HumanAbyss' statement, why do you want hyper inflation and defaulting on the national debt? Do you think that's a good thing?
Not to mention the fact that "capitalism > socialism" is the reason we had the financial crisis in 2008
I'm not saying that going to war would be a good idea at all, only that it would be winnable.
The U.S. Has more anti-missile batteries than Russia has Missiles. Our planes are better in every way and can easily dispatch the entire Russian air force. We're virtually untouchable from an attempted Russian invasion and would only need time to win.

Just look below my post. I was going to go searching for Zylers posts, but he saved me the trouble.
Literally everything you posted as a response was wrong, a lie/huge exaggeration, or just flat out ignorant of the real world.
Seriously, you hear "Default on the debt" and go "WELL AT LEAST HE'S NOT CLINTON AND HE'LL DO SOMETHING"
Are you serious? What kind of low effort response is that? You want to get all pissy at me for not having sources, but you never sourced a single claim you just said stuff that's anti Clinton because that's what you've been told to do.

So we can clearly see that the government failed to mitigate the crash; socialism had nothing to do with it. Rather than argue ideology, I'd much rather place the blame on ignorant analysts and institutions in the derivatives market for the irresponsible and greedy securities marketing they engaged in.

Corporatism, deregulation and a lack of a social security net is what caused the 2008 financial crisis. The accumulative efforts of deregulation and low interest rates thanks to the republican party meant that banks could offer housing loans that had no chance of being paid back, when the bubble burst it almost destroyed the entire country's economy and put most of the world in financial disarray when a huge 'too-big-to-fail' bank collapsed.
Start with the folly of the financiers. The years before the crisis saw a flood of irresponsible mortgage lending in America. Loans were doled out to “subprime” borrowers with poor credit histories who struggled to repay them. These risky mortgages were passed on to financial engineers at the big banks, who turned them into supposedly low-risk securities by putting large numbers of them together in pools. Pooling works when the risks of each loan are uncorrelated. The big banks argued that the property markets in different American cities would rise and fall independently of one another. But this proved wrong. Starting in 2006, America suffered a nationwide house-price slump.
The pooled mortgages were used to back securities known as collateralised debt obligations (CDOs), which were sliced into tranches by degree of exposure to default. Investors bought the safer tranches because they trusted the triple-A credit ratings assigned by agencies such as Moody’s and Standard & Poor’s. This was another mistake. The agencies were paid by, and so beholden to, the banks that created the CDOs. They were far too generous in their assessments of them.
Investors sought out these securitised products because they appeared to be relatively safe while providing higher returns in a world of low interest rates. Economists still disagree over whether these low rates were the result of central bankers’ mistakes or broader shifts in the world economy. Some accuse the Fed of keeping short-term rates too low, pulling longer-term mortgage rates down with them. The Fed’s defenders shift the blame to the savings glut—the surfeit of saving over investment in emerging economies, especially China. That capital flooded into safe American-government bonds, driving down interest rates.
Low interest rates created an incentive for banks, hedge funds and other investors to hunt for riskier assets that offered higher returns. They also made it profitable for such outfits to borrow and use the extra cash to amplify their investments, on the assumption that the returns would exceed the cost of borrowing. The low volatility of the Great Moderation increased the temptation to “leverage” in this way. If short-term interest rates are low but unstable, investors will hesitate before leveraging their bets. But if rates appear stable, investors will take the risk of borrowing in the money markets to buy longer-dated, higher-yielding securities. That is indeed what happened.
You're right that socialism had nothing to do with the 2008 financial crisis, because actual regulatory procedures would have stopped it from happening in the first place.
These kind of financial crashes are inevitable in an unregulated economy, that's why we always have a economic crash every 20 years or so. People get too greedy, checks and balances get abolished, deregulation occurs and eventually the bubble bursts.

No I'm saying that because the leader of the fed was so anti-socialist, he didn't have a backup plan for when things went tits up. He was a big follower of Ayn Raynd and laid down next to nothing for social security.

You wouldn't just throw the blame at the capitalists who decided "Banking isn't generating enough money, lets do some really shady shit to bundle and repackage debts, risks, and other obligations into investments that are falsely rated AAA"? Because it's their fucking fault more than any ideology or "Ignorant analyst". Rich people with too much greed, rich institutions with too much greed. Greed is the problem. And you want to elect the greediest man in your country to run it because...

He's at fault for at least part of what the US, and global economies suffered through in 2008/9.

The fed can only work with what it's given- Legislation won't work fast enough in a situation like that. You need to know what IS happening and react to it appropriately. Saying who's at fault doesn't change that gov't could have prevented it or at least mitigated the damage and it didn't, because of the poorly formed philosophies of some of the cabinet.

Analysts were the "point-of-sale" for the activity that caused the crash--they could have been more attentive or morally-fibrous, and they weren't. Of course it didn't stop just with them. Throw the banks' executives on the fire too!

Well you want Trump to run your country, yes or no? you've been an avid supporter this far, are you not one any more?
He's a human emobdiement of greed and self aggrandizing crap. Do you want him to lead your nation, yes or no?
So this election cycle is where voting for the lesser evil has gotten us. The only reason the main political parties can even offer up these candidates is because they have such a low bar to pass. Oh, the other candidate is shit. Then we can just sit here and provide an equally shitty candidate (but our opinion is that this candidate is just slightly less shit than the other candidate).
Seriously, I wouldn't be surprised that if the next election is even worse. And it'll keep getting worse as long as the main two parties can keep up with their bullshit.
People seriously need to stop voting lesser evil. Because when you vote lesser evil your ignoring the evils of the person your voting into power.
And please, stop comparing people to fucking Hitler. Trump is not Hitler. Neither is Hillary.

The political parties didn't 'offer up' these candidates. In the case of Trump, he won the Republican presidential nomination (which is a democratic process) because a plurality of the voters, the alt-right, were united behind Trump, whereas the votes of the majority of Republican voters were severely split between about ten other candidates. So because traditional Republican voters couldn't get behind a single person, a bunch of outsiders came in and toppled the process onto its head.
How is he going to substantially increase military spending while simultaneously destroying the budget and ballooning the deficit? Why are conservatives voting for this guy?
