Less sarah silverman plz, her characters voice made me hate the first movie
I'm curious, did the first movie have a heavy handed message? I'm probably thinking about it too much, but I'm wondering if there's a message about massive corporations (based off the buildings).
Still, I hope the second one does a better job as an all around video game movie. Not as "Nintendo: the Movie" or "Arcade: the Movie" or even "Sugar Rush: the Movie".
So far, all I'm seeing that's video game related is Wreck-It Ralph/Venelope themselves, being video game characters in their own world. It seems like their abandoning the original idea in favor of a Virtual Toy Story idea (ie, what would electronic entities do if they were sentient).

While this is good news, I hope it doesn't ruin the first one.
oh boy are we gonna talk about emulated video games in this movie
You could have the whole "The arcade might be dead but you can still live forever for future generations" thing going. Plus he could meet a whole new cast of members while still interacting with the old ones. Or someone reopens an arcade or collects arcade machines.
I hope they include the speed running community in this film. It'd be pretty funny if they had ralph trying to talk to bunny hopping gordon freemans flying around
i loved the first movie, although i always wondered what would happen if the power went out, would everyone die or something?
I think they actually touched on this in the movie. IIRC the only fear is if the arcade cabinet loses power permanently.

Something something power of friendship something appearances can be deceiving something something dont judge a book by its cover
I hope in the end they find a new home in Garry's arcade game

Wasn't that abandoned? Because that'd be a very bittersweet ending to live in a forgotten game.
I wonder how the story will be.
I mean, the characters live in arcade machines, how did they end up on the internet now??
Someone ripped them from the arcade machines similar to Half-Life 2: Survivor and put them on the internet
