This is totally unacceptable and probably illegal on so many levels I don't even know.
Fucking pigs, you'll never take me alive!
Yes i am, America only has power because they got them selfs in at the right time in the right places.
So did Britain with Australia, Canada, and so many other countries. But what's that got to do with anything... your point is moot.
If Japan and Australia decide to kick out America, They would have no stronghold in South East Asia
South Korea? Thailand or the Philippines if needed? What the hell does that have to do with copyright though.
Torrent-Finder.com works for me, is that because I'm not in the US?
Works for me too.
[img_thumb]http://www.torrent-finder.com/IPRC_Seized_2010_11.jpg[/img_thumb]
They got my favourite Linux watching site awhile ago. :argh:
Yes i am, America only has power because they got them selfs in at the right time in the right places.
[img_thumb]http://www.torrent-finder.com/IPRC_Seized_2010_11.jpg[/img_thumb]
That a lot of eagles
USA, land of freedom my ass. Or so it seems.
So they're fighting what/who they think are assholes, by being even bigger assholes? Someone didn't tell them about eye for an eye.
Next stop, Wikileaks!
You need a revolution over in the US :v:
So how long until this is used to censor political dissent?
It's because of the internet censorship bill was passed not long ago.
No, it wasn't. http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=s111-3804
Only a matter of time until they block WikiLeaks with some bullshit excuse like "it used a trademarked font in one of it's documents".
In Sweden the government can't censor anything :smugdog:
They can't in Norway either :smug:
Only a matter of time until they block WikiLeaks with some bullshit excuse like "it used a trademarked font in one of it's documents".
No more like it was a threat to Homeland Security. Not saying it is, but why the fuck would they use font trademark as an excuse.
They can't in Norway either :smug:
Generally the government can't censor anything in any of the civilized European countries.
Y'know, all these fascists should just be thrown in jail for their violations of human rights.
Well friends, time to load up my AR-15 and go to Washington :patriot:
Due Process?
:911: I'm moving to Sweden.
So there are hundreds and possibly thousands of websites that tell you how to create bombs, and they don't shut those down, websites which basicly give you instruction on how to kill people, that stay up by way of "Freedom of speech"; yet they shut down a website that hosts user uploaded torrents and doesn't even use it's own trackers? Seems a bit off.
Write to your senators. Whether they pay it any mind or not is a whole other issue.
It's the US' world police time of the month.
Oh man... this is NOT going to end up well... shit's gonna hit the fan bigtime
In Sweden the government can't censor anything :smugdog:
In Finland, no one cares about this. At all. :smug:
ICANN, which controls .com, .edu, .gov, .int, .mil, .net, and .org, is basically under the control of the US Government. They can take over a domain no matter where the server it points to is located.
But ICANN is a private sector corporation. They don't work on the governments behalf.
This is the US we're talking about here. Due Process is the part where they curb-stop you and shit on your face.
I know you're joking but seriously there is a legal process and the reason they are circumventing it is because it can't hold up in court.
