RIP Sbarro's, you were always my go-to for whenever I was hungry in the mall :(
No, it seems to be like that everywhere in 'murrika.
In my town, Gamestop has replaced EB Games, Game Trader, and they even helped in closing down Blockbuster-I bought more video games there than movies.

I'm pretty sure Blockbuster is closing down everywhere.
I'm pretty sure Blockbuster is closing down everywhere.
nope, just gradually. some of the stores are the only physical rental place for like 5 miles all around so they still get business
It's too bad. I always got their pizza when I went to the mall.
They had a bunch of pastas too, right?
They were probably the best place to eat in our town's old mall.
But then where will i go to get my pizzas when i'm at the mall with my friends
Fuck.
i liked the place.
now its up to store pan pizza :smith:

I have high standards for pizza, and sabaro is actually good. You obviously don't know what good pizza is.

Good stuff.
That shit looks repulsive.
Damn, I've only had it twice, both times being in Seattle, but it was pretty damn good.
That shit looks repulsive.
it does at first, but after you try it, its pretty good.
I'll miss their deep dish.
Definitely true.. sure the pizza was greasy and cheap.. but it was something you'd get once in a while at the mall. I doubt there will be another place that takes it's place for mall pizza. I haven't seen another shop like it.
Mrs. Vanelli's is nearly identical to Sbarro. Sbarro is a little better though, and a touch cheaper.
I only ever heard of them because of the movie "The Terminal". Maybe somewhere else, but I only remember that.
Good riddance to a pizza place. Pasta is better :colbert:
I haven't had one of their pizzas in a long time. They will be missed though.
OP's avatar fits this situation.

I remember them at my mall years ago, but they were replaced by another pizza place
Damn. I will miss their pizza, always loved the huge slices it came in.
Man, they only opened up in the shopping center near me bout a year ago, really nice pizza, sad the see them go :(
Now i wish i had it more than once :(
Im Irish:Yes they're in Europe.
You people should go to Little Caesars. It's only $4.75 after tax for I believe a 12" pepperoni pizza that you just wak in and ask for and they give you one right on the spot.

But Little Caesars is fast-food pizza, not the best, but is definitely worth the price.
I remember only having Sbarro's at an airport in Chicago, and damn it was good.

LC isn't bad, but half the time the asshats in my area don't cook it all the way through. Same with Papa Johns. I hear people rave about how, "GREATEST PIZZA IN THE SOUTHWEST" and I take bite of it, and it's still partly dough.
I feel bad for Sbarro though... It was my first airport food I ate, and it was damn good. I really hope the local pizza shops where I live don't close down... Mam and Jimmy's Pizza are the only good pizzera(with accpetion to ma and pa shops) in Tucson... Their like the only ones, that actually taste like pizzerias in Hamburg/Buffalo, NY.
I loved their Baked Ziti
No NO THIS IS THE WORST FUCKING NEWS EVER

Good thing theres also a Rocky Rococo in my mall too :smug:
I hate fast food. But then I'm a chef so I would.
Aw man, nobody else can cook a pizza under a heat lamp and leave it out for hours like Sbarro.
