The way these candidates are acting now, I am definitely voting for Obama.
I wouldn't really say voting for Obama, more so voting against his opponents.
I am so glad I will be 18 in time for next years election. Voting Obama fo sho
This sounds a lot like the "Anybody but Bush" campaign that Kerry ran on in 2004.
I don't see why people keep saying "Ohh, Obama should be worried about this election season! He'll have a hard time getting reelected!" The guy has it down solid. He'd basically have to come out punching babies and eating puppies to have a chance of losing to the GOP.
I mean when you've got, what, six opponents who are all crap in the head or absolute lunatics (or in Cain's case, performance artists) then you'd have to try extensively to lose your campaign.
You underestimate the power of stupid people in large numbers.

But with the USA having a 2 party system, what's the difference?
I'd rather vote for Obama knowing what he has done in office instead of simply because of fear of what someone might do if they were in office.

Nah, I'm voting for Obama. I think he has a strong chance of doing some useful and really good things.
This sounds like something you would hear from the onion

Regardless of who gets elected, they will not be able to accomplish anything unless Congress actually gets their heads out of their asses.
The thing I don't like about Obama is that he is too nice and principled. He reminds me of Carter.

Completely unlike Carter though, Obama knows what he's doing. The only thing stopping him from getting the country back on the right track are the people bitching about him being unable to get the country back on the right track. Congress is honestly like a chicken with it's head cut off right now. It'll go in every direction except the one that it needs to go.
What I love most about this plan is how practical it is.
Jon Huntsman seems reasonable but people will never vote for him because of that.

Barack Obama vs Jon Huntsman. That's how an election should be in this country.
Instead we have extremist conservatives flinging their shit on everything and trying to tear the country apart claiming their "fixing it".

Huntsman would win against Obama, but won't have the chance to run against him.

In our 2008 federal election the Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador (a conservative himself, but provincial conservatives are much different than federal ones) started an "Anything But Conservative" campaign
In the province during that election, the conservative party got 0 seats
