Why is Canada Post allowed to lock them out? I mean, even if they extended negotiations indefinitely it would still be better than this.

Mail isn't an essential service so they're allowed to fuck everyone over. Fuck Canada post I had some mail coming in now I'm fucked until the morons in charge stop being babies and actually negotiate.
As a matter of fact yes I would. I'd rather live in a country where shit that actually matters can actually be accomplished instead of the oh so pressing matter of making our national anthem gender neutral. This improves my life SO much, who cares about an essential service not functioning when our national anthem now takes into account that I sexually identify as an attack helicopter.

This country is already in the toilet with Trudeau threatening to pull the handle, trampling over the constitution can't make it any worse. Harper was honestly a million times better than what we're stuck with now.
Imagine caring that TWO WORDS in our very short anthem could be changed. I mean, it's not like it hasn't been changed several times already for various reasons over the years right!? Yep, because government doesn't work on many things at the same time, NOPE! In Taepodong-2's world, government works in sequential order and focuses on only one thing at a time.
Oh please, grow up.
Now, Canada Post is being pretty scummy about this and should get a huge slap on the wrist if not more.

Well refusing arbitration doesn't bode well for the reputation of the union. My cousin is gonna be pissed though, pretty sure he's a postie.
maybe give the workers a 2nd vote?
Just wondering, I get paid by weekly cheques no direct deposit. Will this effect my income?

The union is being difficult. They didn't agree with binding arbitration even though the Liberal government would probably take their side over the Harper appointees running the show at Canada Post.

Negotiation period was extended for 30 days. We're fine until August rolls around and this exact scenario happens all over again.
