Holy shit

This is just hilarious.
Go on then.
Tell us who's right and wrong in this situation.
Chippay isn't one to jump on any band wagon. He is very much a free thinker, and he'll argue his point against the masses.
Confused? No, I know just fine what is going on. I know the history, the riots, mandates and immigration. I still think Israel is wrong to displace people and treat them like second class citizens. They don't want to integrate them, they just want rid of them.
Unfortunately people aren't idiots because they don't agree with you.
Go on then.

Has anyone said something so mind bogglingly stupid in this thread?
Because I don't remember anyone saying there was a right and a wrong.
Go on then.
Tell us who's right and wrong in this situation.
That's not what this is about. This is about your hilariously ignorant opinion that no one outside Israel or Palestine can give an opinion on the conflict.
It would have been nice is Israel had been a mixed community in the Holy Land, but the seperation between the communities is like oil and water, and one side is forcing the other out.
Noob Israel, go on foot and fight like a real man, don't be pussies and use planes.
No Israel picks fights with everyone because they know that the US is behind them regardless. and not many countries like Israel just because the way it was formed after ww2, I really can't blame the other countries as we were wrong for the way we formed it.
Sorry, Are you insane? That's still a human rights violation, especially since they weren't even citizens of Israel, and I'd throw rocks at them too if I had the chance.
Really?
that's funny because I could swear that if someone was throwing rocks at you you'd do something about it, I would've wedgied the kid.
Really?

Giving a kid a wedgie is a slight different than strapping him to the windshield of your jeep in a high danger zone.

They can't present a balanced opinion on the subject no, since they're not directly experiencing it first hand. I can't give one because of that and I'm not going to.
That's my point. You can't say 'this is bad, this is good' until you've done both to find out, otherwise you don't have a leg to stand on. In this case, 99% of the people posting in threads like this don't have a fucking clue to the situation and therefore can't formulate proper opinions on the matter
This just leads to a clusterfuck of HURR THIS or HURR THAT because one influential person agrees or disagrees with said opinion. Prime example in this thread (and every other israel-palestine thread I've read so far), TH89 posts and bam, massive, streaming tirade of people going HURR ISRAEL BAD HURR until the thread eventually chokes on it's own content because nobody can be assed to disagree with it anymore
EDIT:
Observe above 3 posts. Point proven.

Your point is not proven by two stupid posts. Note I said two. Several people have said incredibly intelligent things in this thread, regardless of whether you think it's valid due to your biases. Your point will never be 'proven' since your point is utterly asinine.

as·i·nine
1 : extremely or utterly foolish <an asinine excuse
2 : of, relating to, or resembling an ass
Because common logic is extremely and utterly foolish
I should bring that up in the next tirade of atheist threads and see what they say
Congratulations on contradicting yourself.
Actually I haven't. Someone has been kind enough to post the definition of asinine below. I'm guessing you just don't know what the word means. I suggest you thank the magical bearer of the dictionary for explaining this to you.

There you go, it's not common logic though. At least you understand the basics now. You're getting there!
Just a sidenote, the people in the atheist forum make infinitely better arguments than you, lets stick with the basics.

It obviously isn't obvious, as you are the only person that can actually see it.
Congratulations on contradicting yourself.
Outside observers can have opinions, and often a more logical and unbiased approach, since they are not involved in shooting each other.
He is saying your arguement that outside observers can't have valid opinions is stupid.

They restrained him to stop him and his friends throwing rocks at the car, they RESTRAINED him to the target, possibly putting a civilian in the firing line whether he likes it or not.

Uh, other than the whole labeling Jews as one of the 'five tribes' is a little weird there's a whole lot wrong with your post. First the Babylonians sent all the Jews out of Israel and destroyed the First great temple in Jerusalem. They were allowed to return under Cyrus the Great. Many did not. Most of them who did were then again exiled by the Romans, the vast majority didn't go back for over a millennium. Of those who did return, a large amount were slaughtered by the Crusaders. Jews only became a major force in the 'Holy land' largely after WW2, where they moved into land owned by the Palestinians, where they were motivated by Zionism.
facepunch history lesson

Yeah, fucking hobo sand people, trying to set up their fucking disgusting hobo lives in a now not inhabited stretch of land. Dumb sand fucks.
Since they did this, it's perfectly reasonable to go and commit atrocities and kick them out after they've established themselves.
hey ephemeral tell us why you think public discourse in a globalized world is not important, go ahead
why shouldn't people in the US, with the US being a massive supplier of weapons and money to Israel, voice their opinion in a human rights violation involving Israel? Why shouldn't people publicly speak out, write their representative, protest at Israeli embassies worldwide, or be involved in government whatsoever? You tell us; why should the western world again turn a blind eye to atrocities committed by their favorite son?

Actually the Romans forced them out the second time, alot earlier than the crusades. From then it was ruled by various Islamic factions up until the crusades, for the most part the Jews were allowed to follow their religion no problems.
The Jews haven't run Israel for 2000 years and even before that they it was contested by the Babylonians. That hardly gives them the right to start reclaiming the place now.
Islam has had more influence that any other entity on Jerusalem. Most of the old cities you see in photos were built while under Islamic rule.
Just because it was written by Jews that the lands belong to them doesn't mean the can automatically relaim it whenever they like no questions asked.
