Because you are not giving them, the money makers and the real decision makers are doing that. Not your dumbass dickhead presidentS.
Corrected.
Corrected.
Very true.
If there was absolutely no influence of religion, western civilization will ultimately collapse. Friedrich Nietzsche, one of the most famous atheist philosophers acknowledged that our civilization cannot exist without some influence by religion.
I can count at least two so-called "modern" ideologies in today's youth. I call them the ideology of the modern cavemen.
1. If it feels good do it.
2. It's not a crime if nobody saw it.
-Drugs? Let's do it and forget of all the long-term consequences.
As long as we aren't giving as much of a shit about alcohol as we do about drugs, and as long as alcohol use is so prevalent in todays society, I don't think I would take any of this anti drug shit seriously. Smoke a joint and you go to hell, but a good beer session with the buddies is A OK.
-Sex? Let's do it and forget the risk of unplanned offspring (even birth control medications and accessories are not 100% full-proof.)
Maybe if we actually taught kids about contraceptives we wouldn't have such a huge motherfucker of a problem.
And the chances of a properly used condom failing are so slim you should first be worrying about getting hit by a car.
-Red light? Let's recklessly speed through the busy corner gas station.
People have always done that, I don't see "Thou shalt not speedeth past the red indicator" in the bible.
-Angered and frustrated? Let's go on a pointless killing spree to gain attention and relieve frustration (real life and in-game.)
I personally don't feel right when being an asshole in a game, but that could just be because I'm a pussy. Either ways, I find most of the people who went on killing sprees grew up alone and uncared for, or were just batshit insane. Religion could fix this problem no easier than a group of not assholes.
-Let's allow the children to do whatever they want instead of rearing the little devils to be gentlemen and women.
Parents are stupid shits, but I blame the educational system.
The mainstream media only concentrates on anything bad religion does and a flat zero on anything good religion does. Oh God help the sorry reporter who actually says anything good about religion!
Do you ever watch Fox news? Or any news at all for that matter?
Seriously, what is this news channel you speak of that hates religion.
-Let's forget about all the religious organizations trying to help people around the world. We'll just say they never existed.
Because religion is the source of all good will amirite?
I've caught bits and pieces of all sorts of little conversations as I go about my day from many people my age and younger (mainly younger,) and it does not sound promising at all.
"Young man, I have gauged your speaking ability and find it most poor. At this rate I doubt you shall graduate kindergarten with any less than a D average. Whip yourself into shape within the week, or we shall have to have another chat."
People like you are the ones who make kids not give a shit. They don't have to be majors in everything. Find what they like to do, everyone likes to do something.
Of course there is bad things from religion. There isn't anything in the world that doesn't have a bad side to it.
Yes, everything has a bad side to it, however religion uniquely tailors a frame of mind where it's OK to believe things without ample evidence or in some cases, none at all.
But you shouldn't even be there at all, they should have buggered off before they started the attack.
It just doesn't make sense to me to put your commanders right next to your attacking forces when you can expect a counterattack.
Maybe they need them to co-ordinate attacks, thus having them up front.
Or it could just be plain stupidity.
I know I am going to get flamed for this but, they had it coming.
Not the thousands of innocents, mind you.
Are you speaking of the 2006 war?
Nope.
The war I'm talking about I think happened in the 1960's.
Edit:
Looks like Israel is trying to wipe out HAMAS once and for all and not just trying to defend themselves from them
Yes but if they don't destory HAMAS, they will just come back again and again, so technically they are defending themselves from further attacks.
Whoo, go Israel. Zion number 1. You show those Hamas terrorist pigs.
Note how he said "one of the many", you know, implying more than just religion.
Also when did he claim to be athiest?
Don't be so quick to claim "athiest" on a person, I know many christians, jews, and catholics who believe religion is a main factor in many wars.
True, I shouldn't pull the atheist card, but most of this forum is athiest so I am just guessing. My post was stupid and I had a hangover :crying:. But you are right. Just saying this war is mostly about land.
Why did I lose smartness?

And its proximity to Jerusalem and the fact that the two sides are split totally down the Muslim/ Jew line means nothing.
It is a holy war. Get over it. People are killing each other because they have different imaginary friends.
You think it would be anywhere near the same problem if Hitler had killed a bunch of Muslims and the UN created Israel as a place for them to go post WWII?
No. They would have barely batted an eye. The social fallout would be almost non existent even if they had a totally different skin color. They would have gladly accepted the UN's proposal of a bisected state or joint rule. The Arab Muslims would never have decided to go batshit crazy and start killing the Refugee Muslims and none of this would happen.
Different. Imaginary. Friends.
I hope they get their ass whupped like in 2006.
Shit really is going down ....
some Turkish and Arbian people thinks they should attack to İsrael and if that would happen there will be a WW 3 fo' sue !
I hope they get their ass whupped like in 2006.
clearly an anti-semite
Seriously, it's time they man up and take military action. Stop being pussies and using politics, obviously nobody's listening to diplomacy. It would be much better if they did, but they don't.
I agree, if the UN doesn't like something, they should send in soldiers to stop the fighting. Telling them to stop isn't gonna do shit.
clearly an anti-semite
You better not be being sarcastic, Hezbollah's terrorist attack on Israel was completely unjustified, and they had a right to respond.
I hope they get their ass whupped like in 2006.
fucking jew hater
You know, Israel honored the ceasefire. Hamas didn't. Why are people putting Israel down for taking action against their enemies? I don't want to hear the 'proportionate response' crap. If we gave a 'proportionate response' to Pearl Harbor, we'd still be in WW2.
I find it ironic the united states is upset at this considering they supply the weapons directly to israel and also to other countries who supply them to Palestine.

Israel didn't honor it when it refused to lift the blockade.
different imaginary friends that wouldn't exist if other people's imaginary friend's existed.

That's all religion is. It's control.
Not a bad thing either, people just take it way out of proportion and take shit literally.
My sympathy is for the innocent people, not for hamas or the Israeli government. They are both racist and corrupted organisations whose actions only widens the gap between the western civilization and the arabs.

one kills for oil under god and the other just kills under god.
if anything they're just more honest.
I really believe the ww3 will began in the Middle East. Either the arabs or turkish, doesn't matter. Then Israel will do something dumb like bomb Mecca, and the muslims go batshit all around the world, and expecially the ones in Pakistan and Iran. India will go against Pakistan and well... there we go.

I'd say taking a large scale assault and answering in kind is a lot more even than having a couple of casualties from rockets, and killing 100 civilians while trying to get to the guys who did it.
Why can't you anti-semites see?? Bombing kids is a perfectly fine response! ! ! After all those kids are harboring terrorists!! !! :words:

Hopefully this is the case, and that general region bombs itself into oblivion while the rest of the world patiently waits for them to finish being loud so they can go about their business. However, I assume some world power will step in somewhere to help out, then it's everyone's problem.

i'm 100% serious, anyone who criticises israel for this is an anti-semite
i'm 100% serious, anyone who criticises israel for this is an anti-semite
That is true, but it's sad both sides couldn't settle with a truce.
I agree, if the UN doesn't like something, they should send in soldiers to stop the fighting. Telling them to stop isn't gonna do shit.
Yes interfere with things that have nothing to do with us!
Yes interfere with things that have nothing to do with us!
That's what the UN is supposed to do.
The UN is supposed to be the first step on the road to a United Earth government in which the entire planet is basically one big planet. Think Star Trek on a realistic level. The UN is supposed to interfere with these things and stop the loss of life. Think of it this way, if a dude is getting robbed, does a Cop walking by simply keep going, or stop the mugger?
Then why are we giving Israel jet fighters and tanks?
Because Bush isn't the one who said that, it was the groups speaker. Bush supports a treaty, but America thinks the current treaty draft is too lenient on stopping bombings in Israel.
Personally, I say go Israel. They are just defending themselves, considering what they've been through before. It entirely justified if they leveled the Gaza strip.
