Yes because sadistic torture and a few bombing casualties are the same thing.
400 in a few days? pfft nothing why is this even on the news.
400 in a few days? pfft nothing why is this even on the news.
The US killed quite a lot of people in their bombing runs of Iraq, so are we Japan in this WW2 comparison?
Even if you don't think this war they got going is right, you have to admit Israel knows how to get things done.
I think Israel is going overboard with the bombings. Bombings are senseless, they aren't precise and the damage to the civilian populations is crazy. They should have just sent in ground forces from the start, which are far less likely to end up killing mass numbers of civilians. As far as if they should be attacking and not stop, I say let them continue. Hamas are obviously not going to stop or play fair (or at least not as fair as Israel does). I say eradicate the organization!
Except they aren't just, you know, carpet bombing the place like a lot of idiots would lead you to believe, they are usually missile strikes and taking out military or security targets. The civilian casualties are from the few people that happen to be standing nearby. Of the 400 killed, I think less then 60 are civilians.
Even if you don't think this war they got going is right, you have to admit Israel knows how to get things done.
How is that something to admire?

Though the casualty level is rather low, it's still sad for innocent life to die, even children. Also, how the fuck can anyone compare what the Israelis are doing to Gaza to what the Nazis did to the Jews? I don't even BARELY see how they could be linked.
Yes because sadistic torture and a few bombing casualties are the same thing. Edit: Holy fuck. You honestly believe this shit don't you? Just because some people died in some bombings, and they were completely innocent, that doesn't mean they're bigoted and careless. Not even smart bombs can prevent civilian casualties!
I've met people who were there in Israel's other campaigns. They saw the innocent casualties firsthand, and if you think it'll be any different this time, you're likely wrong. I honestly think you don't understand the hatred involved in this situation. Bigotry is everywhere, years of conflict have made sure of that.
I hope Israel continue their invasion, and even step it up a notch, after a while people will wake up, stop letting Israel do whatever they want, and fight them.
They're are just trying to protect their citizens from a terrorist organisation who regularly fire rockets at them. That's a prefectly good reason to invade, all they're doing is locating and destroying weaponry that could be used against them.
Hay guise, don't worry about it. Mohamed will come and save them. :jihad: Just after the Jews steam roll Gaza. :jewish:
Bigotry is everywhere, years of conflict have made sure of that.
The soldiers I met didn't display bigotry towards anyone - all they wanted is to be able to live in peace, or if not peace, at least without fear of rocket attacks or anything similar.
Did I hear STEAMROLL!?!?

Bigotry is everywhere, years of conflict have made sure of that.
Both sides are bigoted, so what can I believe of this conflict? I'm trying to keep my opinion as if both sides have some sort of decency, because we all know for a fact that not everyone on both sides is a stupid bigoted idiot.

Considering a good portion of the population over there is under 18, and most males there over 12 have jobs and can be in the military, child is kind of a vague term.
Anyone under 18 can be called a child. Considering a good portion of the population over there is under 18, and most males there over 12 have jobs and can be in the military, child is kind of a vague term.
Yeah that is kind of true, but a child is still a child.
The soldiers I met didn't display bigotry towards anyone - all they wanted is to be able to live in peace, or if not peace, at least without fear of rocket attacks or anything similar.
I've met plenty, and it's true, you can't call it bigotry. Some of my best friends are Israelis, and it is a sensitive subject when speaking to them But they seemed to view the Palestinians as "Less than human", just enough as to lose value in regards to their life.
Seriously, it's time they man up and take military action. Stop being pussies and using politics, obviously nobody's listening to diplomacy. It would be much better if they did, but they don't.
Easier said then done. Another problem with the UN is they try to please everyone, which is near impossible because you can't please everyone. That will be their downfall. They don't fire missiles to be precise and get main targets, they know they will not do that, It is a part of the psychological warfare. It is also sad to see people going "Pfff 400 is nothing" barely any damaged. Shows how insensitive and ignorant you guys are. You can't look at these deaths or any deaths for that matter as a statistic. 400 deaths is many, 100 deaths is many, 10 deaths is many, 1 death is 1 too many. 400 lives where taken, and on top of that many more lives are ruined, someone lost a brother, someone lost a sister, someone lost a son, someone lost a daughter, someone lost a mom, someone lost a dad - (you get the point). So stop looking at the fucking numbers and telling each other it is nothing, because it is something, think about how you would feel if you lost someone close to you then multiply that by 400. Now i'm not a bleeding heart pussy or anything, yeah war is shitty, people die. I'm not going to lose sleep over it, but people need to stop looking at the numbers and think of what was lost. That type of mentality oh it is just a number, lets see how much higher it gets is the type of mentality that lets these wars continue. It isn't a fucking competition who can get the highest death count. /rant over - Sorry if it looks as if I'm being over sensitive, because I'm not. That is just how i see it.
Easier said then done.
Plus the largest contributor of troops to UN ranks is Pakistan.
If anything, Islam is one of the more open religions. But no, these stupid people have to go fuck it up for everyone.
You know what, screw it. Let's let them kick the shit out of Hamas in any way they please. Perhaps the consequences will change things for the better.

It's hard to sympathize with these people when the whole middle east is basically a warzone half a world away. and for the most part we're jumping out of it.( If Obama does everything right) I actually think the blue helmets of the UN should show up eventually though. They need to make more decisions where not everyone is happy. nobody needs to be happy 24/7. except for north Korea, they're crazy.
Hamas moves on Fatah 'collaborators' http://www.jpost.com/servlet/Satellite?cid=1230733155685&pagename=JPost%2FJPArticle%2FShowFull The Hamas government has placed dozens of Fatah members under house arrest out of fear that they might exploit the current IDF operation to regain control of the Gaza Strip. The move came amid reports that the Fatah leadership in the West Bank has instructed its followers to be ready to assume power over the Gaza Strip when and if Israel's military operation results in the removal of Hamas rule. Fatah officials in Ramallah told The Jerusalem Post that Hamas militiamen had been assaulting many Fatah activists since the beginning of the operation last Saturday. They said at least 75 activists were shot in the legs while others had their hands broken. Wisam Abu Jalhoum, a Fatah activist from the Jabalya refugee camp, was shot in the legs by Hamas militiamen for allegedly expressing joy over the IDF air strikes on Hamas targets. "Hamas is very nervous, because they feel that their end is nearing," a senior Fatah official said. "They have been waging a brutal campaign against Fatah members in the Gaza Strip." Meanwhile, sources close to Hamas revealed over the weekend that the movement had "executed" more than 35 Palestinians who were suspected of collaborating with Israel and were being held in various Hamas security installations. The sources quoted Hamas officials as saying that the decision to kill the suspected collaborators was taken out of fear that Israel might try to rescue them during a ground offensive. The officials claimed that at least half of the victims were killed by relatives of Palestinian militiamen who were killed as a result of information passed on to Israel by the "collaborators." Justifying the latest crackdown on Fatah, a Hamas official in Gaza City said that his government had received information according to which Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas had instructed his loyalists in the Strip to start moving toward undermining Hamas. "We will kill them all if they try to help Israel bring down our government," the official said. "We will hang Mahmoud Abbas and [former Fatah security chief] Muhammad Dahlan in the public square if they try to enter the Gaza Strip aboard Israeli tanks."
HAMAS - Protecting the Palestinians from evil Israel!
This is getting really silly. Hamas needs to go.
Sad thing is, they're only getting bombed because of Hamas' presence, but if nobody was standing up to Israel like that they'd stay oppressed forever, really.
Good news considering HAMAS has begun attacking civilians in the strip in retaliation for the bombings.
Bet they are counted as civilians killed against Irael in their PR campaign

I just want to see America stop supporting Israel. Then Israel can do whatever they want, I don't care, America just shouldn't support them.
