If I wasn't a jew, I'd be so damn angry with myself right now.
What? Elaborate, that sentence is confusing.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/7811386.stm
I really can't understand why everyone's so upset because of somewhat 64 dead civillians. Fucks sake that stuff happens in a war. Collateral damage. People act as if they've never seen a war before. :raise:
Hopefully this won't last long, what are they fighting over?
Shit Pickle.

Israel should've lifted that blockade.

Nobody seems to care when the yanks bomb some helpless innocents.
Its funny how no one in America hears of the countless Palestinian deaths and only hears of the "poor Israelis battling on all sides". Look, I'm no Zionist conspiracy nut, but both sides are equally abusive, and in fact most people should be sorry for the Palestinian populous. Most want peace, but with the arabs using Palestine as their puppet, not letting Palestinians out of displacement camps, and the Israelis not moving out of areas like the Gaza Strip like they had agreed upon, and the Israeli government not letting medical and other aid into the Palestinian areas, and Hamas (really I don't need to go into detail with this one) I feel sorry for most Palestinians. Sure, there aren't millions of people world wide who hate them, but their lives are way worse off than the average Israeli.
You can't really write it off as collateral damage when this war shouldn't even be being fought right now.
So Israel should just simply ignore the rockets fired at them by the Hamas or what?
Nobody seems to care when the yanks bomb some helpless innocents.
That's because the western world uses high precision tactical missile strikes. Israel is using hell fire rockets which just devistate everything (Which is way more awesome)
So Israel should just simply ignore the rockets fired at them by the Hamas or what?
You didn't read the article did you? It challenges the idea that Israel has adopted almost an 'anything goes' policy. When it shouldn't. Pulling the naive 'lol its war' card doesn't help prove any points either. Israel is killing/destroying anything that is loosely associated with Hamas. But doesn't that infact legitimises the rocket attacks on Israel? Since they do have national service other there, so why don't Israeli civilians count as legitimate targets for Hamas? Double standards.
So Israel should just simply ignore the rockets fired at them by the Hamas or what?
Oh, I know an even better idea. Israel should withdraw to 1967 borders, remove the illegal settlements, Israeli only roads and the Apartheid wall and actually put it on the green line instead of surrounding cities. And maybe even give Palestinian Israelis a little more respects, like let them buy land and have better jobs.

Christ, we are really big dicks towards Palestinians.
but as a Jew, Christ,
LOL But seriously you shouldn't have to apologize for people half way around the world of the same faith doing f***ed up things.
Does no one else see the irony in this?
Yeah, I did, that was intended Nancy Drew.
But seriously you shouldn't have to apologize for people half way around the world of the same faith doing f***ed up things.
Um, yeah, I should, cause those assholes at Israel are going all like "this is the home of all jews, and dual citizenship"
It is very Woody Allen, though. Edit: My parents always said that technology will make us all so anti-social that we'll settle wars on the internet, probably through video games. All things considered, is that really a bad alternative to mindless violence? Instead of hearing about the number of deaths, we'd be hearing about number of frags.
Depends, will we die in real life when we die in the game. I've always thought it'd be a more interesting thing to do, get all the world leaders and have them play laser tag.
Did you go to or are you in Israel? If so where and for how long? Just curious! :D
I've been here since i'm 4 years old. Edit:
Yeah, I did, that was intended Nancy Drew. I'm a jew and I'm not sorry for what Israel is doing? I mean fuck, russia probably killed more georgian citizens then israel killed palestinian, and no one went hurr fuck the reds.
no one went hurr fuck the reds.
Huh, you sure about that?
I'm a jew and I'm not sorry for what Israel is doing?
You didn't read the article did you? It challenges the idea that Israel has adopted almost an 'anything goes' policy. When it shouldn't.
There have been so many war waging countries with an 'anything goes' policy. Why do people suddenly start to care?
Pulling the naive 'lol its war' card doesn't help prove any points either.
There aren't any points to prove. It's none of our business, really.
Israel is killing/destroying anything that is loosely associated with Hamas.
I remember the USA, killing and excessively tortuing everything that is/was loosely asscociated with Al Quaeda.
There have been so many war waging countries with an 'anything goes' policy. Why do people suddenly start to care?
Because this war is specifically affecting the American and European policies as well.
About time Israel invades. They've taken so many rocket attacks for the last bit of time and they did nothing in retaliation. The Palestinians are getting what was coming to them.
About time Israel invades. They've taken so many rocket attacks for the last bit of time and they did nothing in retaliation. The Palestinians are getting what was coming to them.
Why are republicans such kiss-asses to Israel?
Where does Israel get money in its desolate land? Well the USA seems to be a nice big support for them. Suicide bombers? What do you hear them say? I can only expect an answer from someone who listens and is not ignorant. They say "We wish for death more than you desire life"...Most suicide bombers are nothing but depressed war torn underdogs, suicide is the way for them to go, and how about taking down a few enemies with them? That sounds like an amazing choice to me. Of course, Hamas, being pricks, play on people's depression and state of mind in a territory that has been in conflicted for 60 years and occupied for 41 years. This conflict is fueled by grudges, the Palestinians will never forget 1948 and the Jews (Zionists not just any Jews) will never let anyone push them around, contrary to that, they will actually push others around as they see fit since they found it effective since 1948 and 1967.
The US has drastically decreased its support of Israel in recent years. We send relatively little their way. Even the amount of military hardware has decreased, from what I understand they are being forced to cannibalize some of their F-15's just to get parts to keep them air worthy. And F-15's are damn tough, not quite A-10 tough, but close for a multi role attack craft. Not that anyone could really blame the US there. Israelis are one of the few legitimately friendly factions in the middle east. Everyone else tolerates us at best, and the vast majority would prefer to see us dead. And what has Hamas accomplished since 1948? Surely there must be some progress for it to be "effective". Unless their goal is for innocent people to die on both sides of the conflict in large numbers, then they aren't effective at all. Granted from the American perspective it has largely benefited us in terms of defense against terrorism. I've taken a number of national security study courses (fun topic) and a massive percentage of our terrorism defense knowledge comes from the Israelis. So wait, if you aren't allowed into the Gaza strip, then does that mean you live in the west bank? Edit:
russians are cooler, and they got all negavtive media attention because america was not backing them up
You know if the Americans and the Russians ever finally get their shit together and work as close allies, we'd be fucking unstoppable.
I'm not directly from Israel, but as a Jew, I apologize for being such dicks. Christ, we are really big dicks towards Palestinians.
Don't apologize, Jews are not doing what they are doing because of their race, it is because of belief and ideology. Some Jews are not Zionists and are good towards us, others are not so good towards us. Jews are like any other group of humans, some good some bad. Hamas was encouraged by Israel to fight Secular Resistance groups such as Fatah, PLO, PFLP. Hamas is said to have been created from the Islamic Brotherhood in Egypt, a party of Political Islam which is inefficient in terms of government but is a government none-the less And no I live in Britain, I am going back to the West Bank hopefully this coming summer for the first time in 10 years.

Hopefully things will have quieted down by then and your visit can be peaceful. The west bank isn't the strip of course, but who knows what could happen.
Why are republicans such kiss-asses to Israel?
http://jtf.org/ I don't think it's all republicans, but the conservative Jewish people, their political views and religious affiliations with the Israeli people is probably the reason why they support them so much.
