You know, they're making Islam seem so warm and fuzzy. Don't they understand the Qu'ran tells them to love their Christian and Jewish brothers, who are "simply following different prophets."
Power is a bitch. With a religious following that dedicated, any leader in those countries could twist beliefs to work for them. Also, now I'm really glad that Israel is bombing them. That's what you get for threatening the entire western world :argh:. Edit:
Funny thing, there has been war down there for longer than I've been alive...
oh yeah just about 5000 years according to the jews
I never thought HAMAS would go as low as name calling. Edit:
Good thing i live here in the United States, where i'll merely get lynched for being gay :)
Give it a rest with the "Hey guys I'm gay!", it was funny at first, now it's just getting annoying.
To all of those who call Palestinians crazy jihadists or mindless psychos: Long, long time ago, Israel came and bulldozed houses, terrorized villages and killed people in the region. Those people probably had children, who grew up to hate Israel because of the poverty and degrading life they had to suffer through. Being left an orphan because of those terror tactics probably did not help. When these children grew up, they saw that the only way to avenge their parents and perhaps get something done their way for once in life, they launched rockets or became suicide bombers. In retaliation to these attacks, hundreds more were killed. Those that died had families too. What do you think the people who are left behind think of Israel now? As people mentioned, violence only brings violence, since it is human to be hateful and seek revenge. You might say; "Oh but Israelis are dead too, what about their families?" and you would be perfectly right, but for a dozen Israelis dead, there are now 300+ Palestinian casualties and many many maimed. Also, Israelis are not shut off from the rest of the world by barriers and soldiers and another country does not keep cutting their power and water supplies whenever it likes. Israelis are not pushed to a side of the country against their will. Fight or flight is a basic instinct. If people are forced into a corner with no chance of escape, they will desperately attack with everything they have, without thinking much. Does this ring any bells in your head?

Don't you ever think that it is kind of weird how both sides were told they could have the land and still the only way they can solve it is with bombs? Did anyone bother to know that Hamas (חמס) in the Hebrew language is violence? Were the two sides taught by religion to kill one another or was it hate the shouldered up by the oral law? Try the Gemorah or PerKa Avos.

Try the Gemorah or PerKa Avos.
I believe neither Islam nor Judaism teaches violence. The books themselves are so old that the alterations made through the ages and different interpretations caused misunderstandings and prejudice. After all while many people consider Islam to be a violent religion, Judaism defends that only Jewish people are right and that they are the chosen race. Anyway all those points aside I agree with you that oral law and teachings caused all this mess (apart from the introduction of Israel to a land where people were already living). But one thing to consider is that oral law became what it is because of the killings and the fight/flight reflex. People who grew up with hate began teaching it to others. I did not know Hamas meant violence, but since Hamas is also a product of the oppression and all the casualties, it is not very surprising.
Give it a rest with the "Hey guys I'm gay!", it was funny at first, now it's just getting annoying.
What the fuck? What did i miss while i was 2 weeks banned?
Uh this warfare on Israel will never end.
For some reason this is hilarious to me.
Hopefully this won't last long, what are they fighting over?
Land, Oil, God, the usual bullshit.
omfg extremists being extreme What next?
For some reason this is hilarious to me.
It's too ridiculous to not be funny.
Dang, I'd move there but I'm athiest so they'd probably hang me too since I don't believe in their stuff.
Hahaha, religion. Fuck off.
Nice source you've got there! "Right Side News: The Right News For Americans"
Hahaha, religion. Fuck off.
Ace guess who I am yeh British man. Edit:
Nice source you've got there! "Right Side News: The Right News For Americans"
I also loled at it.
The Death of Israel.
So much for that fact that the Qur'an states that Jews and Christians- or people of the book- are to be respected because we still worship the same God, just under different prophets.
So much for that fact that the Qur'an states that Jews and Christians- or people of the book- are to be respected because we still worship the same God, just under different prophets.
Doubt they worship the same God if Islam believes God is just Allah while Chirstians believe God is 3 things, God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, Jesus is God and God is Jesus and so forth.
Both sides aren't using logic and are total bastards. The ones who started the conflict were the ones who decided to give the Palestine to the Jews in the first place.
Both sides aren't using logic and are total bastards.
Chippay isn't one to jump on any band wagon. He is very much a free thinker, and he'll argue his point against the masses.
I've never actually seen him argue, he just explains his opinion, which 99% of the time is "You're stupid" or "You're an idiot." So stop playing the persecution card. What about Arafat? He wasn't exactly fighting for peace, now was he?
Israel should just fucking invade/annex whatever the fuck they want. It's not like the US is going to give a flying fuck nor will the Palestine armies be half capable of fending off the Israelis. Edit: This just further proves that the middle east is still a big ass dust bowl of death. We, the rest of the Earth, should just glass the middle-east except Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Yemen and Oman.
Mike Tobin just reported live on Fox, he is with the tanks etc. He said the units are lining up the full length of Gaza, and the soldiers are studying their "maps". He also said a "Senior Military" person, informed him that it wasn’t a matter of "if", but "when" they are going in!
You, like every other anti-Israeli bigot, like to sugar coat the Palestinian situation. The Palestinians are not as innocent as you think. So stop playing the persecution card.
Not a bigot, I don't have any prejudices at all, I actually read about things before I make a decision on them. I didn't see much suger coating up there, the Palestinians have been brought up to hate the Israeli's after what happened. What is wrong about that? No, the Palestinains aren't innocent, read the fucking replys and you'd realise we don't think that either.
Israel should just fucking invade/annex whatever the fuck they want.
Hamas fired a bunch of rockets into Israel a few days ago, killed a bunch of civilians. Israel is now retaliating and attacking strongholds of Hamas and their militants. Oh and in before "jew"
If Israel stopped starving the civils, this would have not happened.Fucking Zionist.

I never said Arafat was peaceful or that anyone was fighting for peace so somehow you managed to misunderstand my words. What I meant was that these people are driven to violence. It is easy for all of you (and me) to comment about this from our chairs in a well lit, well heated house and a reasonably good education (although one cannot see any example of it in many of the comments made here). Most of them live in absolute poverty with nothing in life to cling on to. They see their friends and relatives getting killed or worse being starved by a force that was not there 60-70 years ago. Just because they originated from someplace did not give people the right to occupy a land that has been housing other people for a very long time. If this was so, the whole map of Europe should be redrawn because I do not think neither Angles nor Saxons used to live in England. And don't give me the crap about "promised land" either, because we do not draw borders based on religious texts from a couple thousand years ago. You may or may not be aware of the fact that people do not like living under other people's rule, especially when those people came out of nowhere and were instated by other foreign powers who deceived them with promises of freedom. The way Israel first began to expand (terrorizing villagers and buying the land from them, or just driving them away) did not help either. And last but probably not least Israel was mainly created so that Jews would not live in Europe and America, but be away from those countries. The major poewrs supported the state of Israel so that their own Jewish people would live somewhere else.
Hamas keeps doing dick moves and makes theirs civils look like terrorists.
Doubt they worship the same God if Islam believes God is just Allah while Chirstians believe God is 3 things, God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, Jesus is God and God is Jesus and so forth.
I'll quote this for you: "Judaism, Islam and Christianity are collectively known as "Abrahamic religions" because they trace their history to the covenant God made with Abraham in the Hebrew Bible." In the end, they all pretty much worship the same god but in completely different ways.

Don't act like the Palestinians are innocent, for they are not. You know why the Israelis keep attacking them? Because Islamo-fascist extremists keep killing Israeli citizens. The Israelis bite back, and they bite back REALLY hard. But the key word is "back".
because we do not draw borders based on religious texts from a couple thousand years ago.
BULL SHIT!
haha those crazy religious folk
