Numerous Twitch speedrunners banned in glorious display of administrative furry drama.

Is Horror indeed gone?
This thread is pure entertainement. I can't believe how badly Twitch reacted to this, I thought they were semi-professional at least.
I'm not sure what you are trying to say. That has nothing to do with what happened. Practically nobody gave a shit that he was a furry. It was just fuel on the fire once it got burning.
The point is that furries have a disproportionate tendency to leap to the defense of one of their own and scream "fursecution" regardless of what the actual context is. Hell, we have a perfect example of that in this very thread in the form of milkandcooki.
Or are you just another one who can't be fucked to read, thus supporting that point? Sorry if that seems rude. Your comment just seems woefully out of context.
except i was pointing out craptasket saying he would ban all furfags and that dude defending him, and way to fucking generalize that all furries are the same. you pretty much get fans being defensive with any fandom if you insult one of the said fans. i dare you to go to a football game and go like "HEY, THE GAINTS SUCK" to an guy in a NY giants group and not get your head beaten in for being an idiot.
hell i even said both sides were shitlords and you just ignored it.
The whole situation is Horrorible
Leo is a really close friend of mine, lol.
I think I need to check on the poor sod though, he seems very upset :/
How come that everybody is "close" to those people?

I want you to consider the following;
Fandom. Enthusiasm for a particular thing to the point of accepting it as a guiding doctrine for lifestyle. That's fine.
I however have been to many football games, among many pitched crowds, and told opposing fans "Your team sucks, and I hope mine wins you trashbags." Not once have I been swiped with a bottlebat or knocked to the floor. It's usually in good humor or when it's not, we still understand that both sides are made of human beings who have direct-opposite opinions and that's fine.
So when Furries take criticism or any generalized distaste for their 'lifestyle' (Hint: Furry isn't a sexuality, nor is it privileged as such.) and retort with psychopathic, post-holocaust defensive posturing that would make Netyanhu (or whatever that Israeli is named) blush for lack of shame, there's a problem.
When we review the claims about Horror, and furries in general we get,
Horror is a furry. Horror is gay. Horror is a shitler-tier badmin. One of these things is not like the other. None of these things excuse the other.
Furries are gay. Furries are silly. Furries are drama-causing attention whores. One of these things is not like the other. None of these things excuse the other.

except not many furries consider it a lifestyle, and only a few cause mass drama. way to again generalize an entire fanbase of literally hundreds of thousands of people. and really, all furries are gay? you must be extremely blind and following stereotypes.
i can retort by saying that all football fans are massive meatheads who just drink beer all the time in a recliner.

furries are idiots
furries are idiots
and football fans are idiots because they cause riots in the streets if their team wins or loses.
doctor who fans are idiots because they write death threats over their doctor not being young and cute
bf4 fans are idiots because they are ddosing the servers because they want the game to run better.
i can keep going but no one will see the irony of how judgmental people are being over stereotypes.
furries are idiots
Fandoms can be both the most brilliant and idiotic thing for any source of media.
To be fair, Leo is the type of furry that changes boyfriends about as often as they change shirts.
So the most common type?

All valid claims if we're being judgemental. Which for all intents and purposes of operation we are. Judgements often serve as useful heuristics (shortcuts) for deciding things or making large claims. Some are well founded with evidence, and some are not.
Generalizations are fun. Furries are dumb, hyperdefensive amoral monsters. Gamers are murderous sexual deviants in basements. Politicians are grafting senseless liars. Christians are child-killers and Athiests are smarmy fedora tipping neckbeards.
It's a good thing that when you get to know individual people, they stop being part of a general population. You can evaluate them as single entities, and compare them to a population, and see if they fit the form of a generality or not.
It's a good thing that we all as human beings are capable of learning and growing, and can take the time and effort needed to learn a lot about individuals, then respect their unique differences.
It's a bad thing that some of us are retarded in our growth, and grow more slowly, and must rely on judgements in order to get things done. :(
It is a good but sad thing that arbiters, like Cops and Administrators, have to rely on judgements in order to do their jobs. It is a sad and bad thing that crowds do not have the time or convenience to get to know other crowds individually.
that was the last straw come my furry brothers let us break our oppression and draw more animal porn

what media are furries unanimously a fan of? it's like calling foot fetishists "the foot fandom"

Oh I get it now. You actually take everything Craptasket says seriously. That's why you aren't making any sense to the rest of us.

They're in music, comics, books, movies(Half of Disney shit is Anthropomorphic animals), I could go on.
Yes, a lot of porn is produced by the community, just like every fucking community on the internet.

A note, you failed to focus on the word unanimously.
He's trying to point to the fact that Furries are very diffused as a Fandom, to a ridiculous and incoherent level. Sort of like a group of people admiring feet in all media being called the "Foot Fandom."
Your statement only serves to backup his point.
If the general consensus is that people want it removed, the icon should be removed.
So just because it's hated it should be removed?
So if an emote is a gay guy then it should be removed if a couple of homophobic people wants it removed?

The emote was added as a personal thing by horror as a tribute to his boyfriend, who had absolutely nothing to do with Twitch in the first place. It's about as unfitting as having a taco dinner served at a Chinese restaurant. It just flat-out has no place being there in the first place.
lol comparing disney movies to furry fantasies
You are aware that furry stuff isn't completely sexual right? It is a big part, but it's mostly used to express yourself and find people with similar interest. Why doesn't everyone just not give a shit about what people like if said thing isn't harming anyone?
fuck twitch. get a real job, streamers.

The emote is just a fucking furry face.
It in itself doesn't have anything to do with whatever fetishes the boyfriend took part in.
You won't even know anything about that if you didn't even do any digging.
fuck twitch. get a real job, streamers.
I don't know about everyone else, but streaming seems like a pretty sweet gig.

It didn't matter what the content of the emote was, it was added without any justification or relevance to the site. Shit only elevated when someone made a joke about it and got subsequently banned. We're 11 pages in, it's been explained several times over; read the fucking thread.
