He's trying to force acceptance of an emote directly tied to fetishistic material on a group of people that have made it very clear they don't want it.
How? You keep saying that he's trying to force it on to people without saying how. Please elaborate on how he has forced a fetish onto people in any way.
if this turns in to a seven page debate about how furries are cancer i swear to god facepunch
It normally tends to devolve into a seven page debate over the reasons why people hate furries and people calling them out on it because everyone has differing reasons. At which point it kinda becomes this odd information outlet dispensing furry facts and everyone just kind of nodding along because they've vented to the point of exhaustion. And really, it was already a slippery slope by making an emote for your boyfriend. It was going to be a shitstorm regardless, but the fact it's a furry thing made things even worse.
He's trying to force acceptance of an emote directly tied to fetishistic material on a group of people that have made it very clear they don't want it.
Directly tied in a way you won't know about until you specifically go searching for it. Also the group of people doesn't own Twitch nor is responsible for it's administration, so the group of people can fuck off. Imagine if somebody demanded garry to remove :v: because somebody uses :v: in a scat porn comic. Everyone would tell you to suck it up and get the fuck out as well. It's only a big deal because FURRIESSS!! NOOOOOOOO!!!!!
At first I wondered what was up with all the homophobia, then I remembered this site is populated mostly by MOBA fans.
If the general consensus is that people want it removed, the icon should be removed.
Ha, if only FP worked that way and with some of its rules
How was he nudging the fetish onto people? No one is forced to use it if they don't like it.
None of the other emoticons are based around/have ties to fetishes, why allow this one in? I could care less about what he does on his own time, but honestly the emote seems like he just wants to brag about it. I don't see why else he would add it.
Why is it furries do double, triple or quadruple fucking whammies? It's never "a furry did this". It's always "a furry did, this, this and this". They must be getting their A+ mod/admin experience from FA's circlejerk.
At first I wondered what was up with all the homophobia, then I remembered this site is populated mostly by MOBA fans.
weird, I never knew that liking certain genres made you homophobic
weird, I never knew that liking certain genres made you homophobic
It has more of to do with general social maturity. (Don't lose your shit, I play doto myself, but you have to admit that vast majority of the community is downright shit tier).
Is it bad if I knew exactly who the emote was an image of?
Never allow furfaggots into anything but an oven. (User was banned for this post ("This isn't 4chan" - MaxOfS2D))
The icon itself is clean, and doesn't link or make it easy to find porn. Before this I'm sure everyone just thought it to be "another furry face". Am I looking at this too lightly?
The issue is how Twitch handled the situation, had they just ignored it it would eventually be forgotten, but nope, Horror went full retard and started shutting down streams even though he "doesn't believe in censorship". Shitting down your website's reputation over a fucking emote.
Ha, if only FP worked that way and with some of its rules
FP members have come to accept this. Although it is a site dedicated to a game, it is an open forum and there's little professionalism to it. Twitch, however, is a streaming service with advertisements and everything. They should cater to their users, not ignore them. At least, that's my two bits.
Aaaand Twitch is now down for maintenance.
banning in the name of freedom from censorship, I'm in love
Why is it furries do double, triple or quadruple fucking whammies? It's never "a furry did this". It's always "a furry did, this, this and this". I hope they do actually remove Horror. :v:
Man, Twitch has just become more and more of a shithole since own3d shut down. Not that own3d was any better, they didn't pay people, but at least they kept each other in check.
Aaaand Twitch is now down for maintenance.
Just saw that. I was about to watch a stream too :\
Just saw that. I was about to watch a stream too :\
Well lucky for you it's back up!
I do love a good bit of internet drama.
I guess adding an emote of someone who's known for their comissioned vore artwork is kind of a silly idea. Someone will spot it and FWOOM, drama fireball. Still, this is pretty funny.
Well lucky for you it's back up!
Still shows as down for me.
Never allow furfaggots into anything but an oven.
[img]http://www.facepunch.com/fp/ratings/heart.png[/img]
isnt the furry in thoses images underage? uhhh just urghhhh
Hopefully doesn't affect Good Games Done Quick in January, since some people who are banned are on the schedule.
this is silly shit, people getting banned for jokes.
mmmm man i love me some vore furry pixel emotes anyone check out that sweet deviant art with that under age furry????
The comments on the twitter page are so childish. The ones from Twitchsupport itself I mean.
Popular opinions here: Gays, transsexuals, etc = We gotta accept them for who they are Furries = The best furry is a dead one. Logic.
