Furries: The best furry is a dead one.

Furryism isn't a sexuality, it's a fetish
A very dangerous fetish that seems to go hand-in-hand with drama
Horror is a goddamn horrible admin for twitch
This isn't the first time that he has done shit like this. He's banned people for pissing his best friend off, LordKat.
He's banned a good friend of mine 28 times because LordKat fucking hates his guts and told Horror to "Ban his ass on sight"

to be fair, being a furry and being gay/transsexual aren't really comparable
I hope they do actually remove Horror. :v:
Only Tupac can help us now.

because homosexuality and transgenderism are the same as having a fetish for cartoon anthropomorphic animals
Most of the furry's I know bring it up all the time and shove porn in my face.
That or most of the chill ones never bring it up with me.

That's a pretty loaded comment and I don't really think it's the best comparison.
A better comparison would be MOBA players, seeing as I've noticed people getting awfully defensive when they're accused to being magnets to their own drama.
It's just surprising to me that people can put so much energy in these shitstorms.
I'm no Twitch regular, but people aren't even reading into this at all.
People don't give the slightest fuck it's a furry icon with ties to vore porn.
They were upset because a moderator decides to give his boyfriend an icon for basically no reason. And then when they looked into it, lo and behold vore porn and what have you - the spice on the cake.
People got mad at Horror (the admin in charge of emotes), who is a "gay furry" (he's said this many many times) and Leo's boyfriend because they figured that leo got favouritism i guess for getting his furry emote added as a global emote, which added on to the fact that Horror is really damn awful at deciding emotes, especially for subs (removing some peoples, not removing others, not allowing text but only sometimes etc).
Now normally in any functioning community, the moderators would either comply or leave it as is and just ignore the drama.
However, by either some part immaturity or the aura of retardation that seems to follow furries in any sort of position - Twitch is handling the situation like a really angry guy trying to choke a bar of soap. They're basically fucking up around every corner and acting like an entitled brat against it's own user base; and thus the community is reacting negatively (no shit.)
So what happens next is either people suck it up and continue; Twitch does a massive backpedaling campaign; or everyone just jumps ship to something else and Twitch lives on. That's all, really. :v:

That's probably a better comparison for this argument as well, seeing as they're complaining about people being as obsessed with something as they are.
I don't get where the underage thing is coming from though. I'm pretty sure Leo and his character are well over age. (Especially seeing as I've heard the guy's voice before and talked to him on a few occasions. Never really did like the guy, seemed arrogant.)

Ehhhh, it's not about the fetish itself. It's more a case of people not wanting to have that fetish shoved down their throats.
Hey, I'm cool with people jerking off to whatever they want, as long as they don't break the law or try to push it on other people.

You don't choose your sexuality. You do choose to be an obnoxious attention seeking furry.

This, bragging about your sexuality/fetishes will almost never end well.
The comments on the twitter page are so childish. The ones from Twitchsupport itself I mean.
I sometimes think the Twitch Support tweet feed is a parody it's so just unbelievably immature.
I'm no Twitch regular, but people aren't even reading into this at all.

In our defense, that image that "explains what's going on" doesn't explain it well enough, and it's slightly confusing to read.
While the emote was stupid (as with the backlash over it), the response from Twitch was just horrendous, how on earth did they think acting like that to their viewers/customers was a good idea?
You don't choose your sexuality. You do choose to be an obnoxious attention seeking furry.
Any and all parties can be obnoxious if they jump up and down and announce shit no one cares about. No different than some guy trying to loudly prove how straight he is.
Has nothing to do with sexuality or fetishes.
I'm not even sure how to put this into words other than
Irony.

I never said 100% of furries were obnoxious attention seekers.

that doesn't make any sense.
cartoon anthropomorphic animals fetishm isnt gay/transsexual comparable
You don't choose your sexuality. You do choose to be an obnoxious attention seeking furry.
You can also choose to be an obnoxious attention seeking gay?
I love how they could avoid all of this if they just removed the emoticon from the global list. Censorship or not, if they just reacted to the complaint they received towards the emoticon and removed it then we didn't had this, instead they have opened pandora's box...
Who the hell runs their Twitter account?
That's probably a better comparison for this argument as well, seeing as they're complaining about people being as obsessed with something as they are.
It's odd how one-sided this entire drama fest is. It isn't some 2007-esque case of trolls vs furries than it is people getting really fucking pissed over an emote that happens to be furry related. Had it not even be furry related I doubt we'd even see the amount of vitriol like we're seeing right now.
Seriously. People are just getting really furious over this kind of stuff now, it's not even entertaining.
Admin adds a furry emote.
People discover the furry emote is from a character his boyfriend uses in vore porn.
People flip their shit and start demanding he remove it.
Admin refuses.
People start demanding he lose his admin-status through "Remove Horror" titles and descriptions.
Horror throws a man-child fit and starts editing or closing streams that have previously mentioned titles.
When asked why he doesn't remove the emote, Horror says he's "against censorship."
It's basically a furry getting called out for being a furry (and trying to nudge said fetish onto other people,) people going full "kill the Furry" and said furry going mad and removing anyone who opposes him.
It's like the fucking witch hunts.
Witch/furry is discovered, people demonize him/her and want to kill her/himand have him removed from her/his community by force, s/he responds with MAGIC/bans or blocking, townsfolk bring out pitchforks/lame catchphrase protests, NOBODY WINS.
You can also choose to be an obnoxious attention seeking gay?
Yeah you can. So?
I love how they could avoid all of this if they just removed the emoticon from the global list. Ironic how they use censorship to protect "freedom speech".
I don't understand a thing of what is actually going on in that picture.
Yeah not a fan of this "collage" style that people use for these, i got the gist of it though
What kind of fucking character name is "Nightlight" (not to mention Horror) anyway? The dude's fursona looks generic as hell, also.
It's dumb that he'd get his fursona as a global emote just for being someones boyfriend, too. That's completely unprofessional on the admin's part.
Why is this now about furries, this thread is about a retarded twitch mod, take the furry chit-chat out of here.
Also i noticed how these sites that list Twitch emoticons removed the NightLight (the furry emoticon in question) from their websites.
