Horror's boyfriend left him because of this drama:
that sucks for him even though he was a huge idiot and asshole, he did it all for his boyfriend and in the end he lost even that
that sucks for him even though he was a huge idiot and asshole, he did it all for his boyfriend and in the end he lost even that
Yeah you'd think he'd have just backed down, or for this to have strengthened their relationship or something I mean I cant really feel sorry for him since he instigated this "obvious stress" and just kept taunting everyone when people spoke out about it
The moral of the story? If you have something to hide that people revere, don't even THINK about posting or saying anything in reference to it without majority's backup. Internet people will hunt you like a witch.
I know both of these people semi-personally, and I feel bad for both of them. He's shut down his FA and started to remove Steam friends, AND he lost his boyfriend. what I don't get is why people haven't bitched about the horror emoticon that has been on the site for.... 2-3 years now? but yeah lol really mature of all of these moba game streams to name their streams "REMOVE TWITCH HAHA FURRY XDDD" lmfao grow up. [editline]20th November 2013[/editline] oh, and the emoticon they added wasn't even from porn, it's a completely separate SFW image. like, what the fuck
what I don't get is why people haven't bitched about the horror emoticon that has been on the site for.... 2-3 years now?
Because Horror is a Twitch admin. Leo is not. As far as I can tell, Leo had hardly any reputation on Twitch whatsoever.
Because Horror is a Twitch admin. Leo is not. As far as I can tell, Leo had hardly any reputation on Twitch whatsoever.
not just a twitch admin but the head admin that is paied staff of twitch.
Wow, it's like you didn't even read anything.
yeah, i read the stupid image in the OP an admin banning people for changing their stream headlines to trolling bullshit, and banning people for being absolute fucking assholes? boo hoo? [editline]20th November 2013[/editline]
i think the solution is to not bitch if someone calls you out on your fetish
i don't see how it's relevant? why would somebody bring up personal porn and shit other than to fuck with someone
The best furry is a dead one.
Yes. [editline]20th November 2013[/editline] I wish it was me banning those furries on Twitch.
This is literally the most nanny way to lose someone Over an emoticon on an internet streaming service
I saw a guy attempt suicide because one guy he hated was using furry emotes. This was on FP.
yeah, i read the stupid image in the OP an admin banning people for changing their stream headlines to trolling bullshit, and banning people for being absolute fucking assholes? boo hoo?
To reiterate
Wow, it's like you didn't even read anything.

what's the incentive to spend your hosting and bandwidth letting people use the service for free if there's nothing supplementing it like ads? I hate the interrupting ads that cut segments out in livestream but what would be wrong with something like the popup banner youtube hits you with
???? they get paid hand over fist by riot to host LoL tournaments i dont really have any sympathy
Horror's boyfriend left him because of this drama:
Why am I not surprised? This kind of stuff happens all the time when I look through furaffinity, probably caused by Leo noticing he was brought into something he didn't want anything to do with and wants to be isolated from it. Good on him(Leo) for avoiding the drama train coming his way too much.
I know both of these people semi-personally, and I feel bad for both of them. And many of the streams weren't moba streams, there were a lot of speed runners. They didn't want something associated with porn that the original creator condones, and combined with the backlash that occurred actually supporting their position it rolled into standard case of shitstorm.
yeah, i read the stupid image in the OP an admin banning people for changing their stream headlines to trolling bullshit, and banning people for being absolute fucking assholes? boo hoo?
i don't see how it's relevant? why would somebody bring up personal porn and shit other than to fuck with someone
The streamers didn't bring it up, he did.
yeah, i read the stupid image in the OP an admin banning people for changing their stream headlines to trolling bullshit, and banning people for being absolute fucking assholes? boo hoo?
He put an emote that is unrelated to streaming or the site as a whole on the site for the simple reason that it's his boyfriend. While this annoyed some people, they didn't care enough to really complain about it. Like you said, it's been around for years. That guy made a joke about it and got IP banned, then everyone else who "dared" say anything about it even on other stream chats got banned too. It was a massive overreaction that pissed everyone off, especially how he got away with abusing power like that. You say these people were being "absolute fucking assholes"? You know the awesome games done quick marathons that happen every year? The guys who raise hundreds of thousands of dollars every year for charity by streaming speed runs in that event? http://marathon.speeddemosarchive.com/ A lot of the people who were banned yesterday participate in that event and are actually really nice people.
yeah, i read the stupid image in the OP an admin banning people for changing their stream headlines to trolling bullshit, and banning people for being absolute fucking assholes? boo hoo?
Wait so adding a banner calling for the removal of a shitty moderator without any offensive language or insults is now "trolling bullshit"? I can't help but feel you're just siding with them because you're a furry despite the fact that the moderator is obviously in the wrong here
To reiterate
I'm mostly bugged when people do this, if it isn't difficult to interpret then explain it with ease.
Donating to charity doesn't automatically make you a nice person.
protesting bad moderation doesnt make you a bad person either.
Wait so adding a banner calling for the removal of a shitty moderator without any offensive language or insults is now "trolling bullshit"? I can't help but feel you're just siding with them because you're a furry despite the fact that the moderator is obviously in the wrong here
one of the first major bans was for someone saying "how can i get into your pants for an emoticon LOL" towards an administrator. how is that guy in the right, while the admin isn't?
protesting bad moderation doesnt make you a bad person either.
I never said it did.
one of the first major bans was for someone saying "how can i get into your pants for an emoticon LOL" towards an administrator. how is that guy in the right, while the admin isn't?
because the guy was right. someone got an emoticon (that they didnt even want) because of the following reasons: 1. they are in a twitch moderator's pants 2. here is the appropriate response: ignore them and move on, or give them a timeout if you are mad here is an inappropriate response: IP ban them for life.
Donating to charity doesn't automatically make you a nice person.
except they are the ones trying to raise the donations interesting sidebar the people who are supporting the bans/rating crapts lovely post 10 posts up dumb/disagree 95% have anime/furry avatars who knew!!!
one of the first major bans was for someone saying "how can i get into your pants for an emoticon LOL" towards an administrator. how is that guy in the right, while the admin isn't?
It was a joke. A dumb joke but a joke. If he couldn't handle it that's his problem. Shouldnt' have played favorites like that in the first place.
one of the first major bans was for someone saying "how can i get into your pants for an emoticon LOL" towards an administrator. how is that guy in the right, while the admin isn't?
because horror made the exact same fucking joke but with speedrunners instead a while ago.
how is this even relevant? the image used for the leo emoticon wasn't from porn. you couldn't have even have known that those two were into that vore porn stuff unless you got yourself an adult account on FA or went on some furry porn site and searched for it.
Umm, you didn't even say anything about what I had said,
They didn't want something associated with porn that the original creator condones
Read that for a moment, it is literally no different than having porn stars for emoticons.
one of the first major bans was for someone saying "how can i get into your pants for an emoticon LOL" towards an administrator. how is that guy in the right, while the admin isn't?
Do you have an understanding of humor or sarcasm in the slightest? It is called a joke. When he started banning people it was no longer a joke.
I'm confused. Is this really over an emoticon that was just some furry's head? Like, yeah, the whole porn/vore stuff is pretty bad but it's not like it was flashed all over Twitch. It was just a fursona head. And that was enough to warrant a shitstorm?
This is just a giant trainwreck, holy fuck.
