I like how milkandcooki read the OP, assumed it was just another run of the mill case of a furry being hated for being a furry and jumped to his defense, then split (probably when he actually read some of the thread).
He's such a horrible poster, it's not a surprise.
He's such a horrible poster, it's not a surprise.
I'm glad he's on my ignore list.
I am surprised nobody posted this image: I mean seriously, this was a terrible trainwreck all around- it didnt even warrant such a reaction to begin with.
Twitch admins are claiming the phrase "Remove Horror" is harassment. I don't even know where to begin.
(User was banned for this post ("Meme reply" - Craptasket))

"remove horror" was added to a global filter. it will now get you banned automatically :)
So when does twitch drop out of use because of this.
I am actually staggered at how a website as big as Twitch could handle something like this in such a terrible, childish way.
"remove horror" was added to a global filter. it will now get you banned automatically :)
It's an awful good thing that his name is so unique then. We wouldn't want to, say, turn any conversations about about an entire multi-media spanning genre into accidental minefields. That would be horrible.
"Hey, I got a list of games I'm going to be streaming. Let me know what you think" "Remove horror gam- *Banned*" "Remove horror gam- *Banned*" "Remove horror gam- *Banned*" "Remove horror gam- *Banned*" "Remove horror gam- *Banned*" "Remove horror gam- *Banned*" "Remove horror gam- *Banned*" "Remove horror gam- *Banned*" "Keep horror games"
twitch is just lucky there's no better alternative out there the moment a better one is made, people would flock over, there's no reason to stay on a site like this, run like this
There's "Hitbox". I've never tried it, so I'm not entirely sure what to say.
"remove horror" was added to a global filter. it will now get you banned automatically :)
Oh boy, I love me some Scunthorpe problems.
I don't believe in censorship
Banning people that don't like an emote is censorship. :eng101: [editline]21st November 2013[/editline] Oh, right, there's also this. Xkeeper streams a Super Mario Bros. hack called "Remove Horror" and gets banned for it.
Banning people that don't like an emote is censorship. :eng101:
They weren't banned for not liking an emote. They were banned for being childs about it, causing a hate campaign against an admin. If you don't like the emote? You add it to a filter on your stream, and you never have to see it on there again, rather than making a huge scene over it, calling an admin a fucking faggot, and then getting banned.
the child saga continues the twitch mods talk to the r/gaming mods (who are currently also under fire from a PR disaster) which could result in a bad PR event horizon, or a bad PR singularity.
"it's better this way" the way where we look like complete jackasses with no redeemable side to this event as our service runs itself harder and harder into the ground.
the child saga continues the twitch mods talk to the r/gaming mods (who are currently also under fire from a PR disaster) which could result in a bad PR event horizon, or a bad PR singularity.
So basically any posts about this in r/gaming will be removed? Holy shit. [editline]20th November 2013[/editline] They really are digging their graves.

Though given /r/gamings track record if it's not a meme or a photo of a game from last year with "DAE REMEMBER THIS GEM" it's not allowed.
I like how milkandcooki read the OP, assumed it was just another run of the mill case of a furry being hated for being a furry and jumped to his defense, then split (probably when he actually read some of the thread).
Oh, man, I skip a couple pages and I miss a post where milkandcooki goes bananas 'cause furries? That's what I get for impatience. See, it's not that furries are awful. It's that there's a correlation between furries in a position of status and awful human beings. I mean, pretty much the whole FA admin staff are fucking criminals.
Kind of off-topic but what r/gaming pr disaster?
Didn't the last disaster have to do with r/pcmasterrace, and one of the mods from gaming removing a PC post because it didn't fit in the subreddit because it could be used for other things, like taxes.
Kind of off-topic but what r/gaming pr disaster?
It's existence in general
Kind of off-topic but what r/gaming pr disaster?
Someone posted a picture of a PC in /r/gaming. Because it had nothing to do with gaming, a mod removed it. Reddit blew this up, /r/PCMasterRace ended up doxxing the mod who did it, called the police, claimed to be the mod, and said that he just killed his girlfriend and has a bomb. Therefore, the entire subreddit (/r/PcMasterRace) was banned. Which pissed off a lot of people.

what a horrible night to have a pr disaster
furfag
It's nice to see how much facepunch has grown over the years. (Hint: Very little)
Kind of off-topic but what r/gaming pr disaster?
Some user from r/pcmasterrace was being sort of annoying (the usual) and the mods of /gaming reacted in the absolute worst way possible It was later blown up by other users to the point where they doxxed synbios, which ended in /r/pcmasterrace being banned, which was unjustified and pissed off a lot of people
Not even /b/ in the old days were that hardcore jesus christ.
It wasn't just about the removal of a post, apparently r/pcmasterrace would mass downvote and harass people as well, constantly, and a large, wide number of people would participate in this ganging up upon. This happen to originate r/pcmasterrace so they took action about it. The sub is back up now and they were a big post about it but I can't be ass'd to look it up because I also don't care about circlejerk subs.

And even now that it's back, they don't seem to be going home.

They barely delete any posts anyways so it'd have to be pretty offtopic (like, gasp, a computer that has nothing to do with games). Well I mean /r/gaming is shit anyways but I mean not in the terrible content way and more in the criminal abuse of emergency services way.
I don't have too much knowledge of Reddit's core workings but as far as I get it this either means that a mod removed it or the user himself did it(which I find unlikely) Nevertheless I'm guessing the Twitch mods spoke to r/games mods too, and got them to censor posts relating to the Twitch bannings.
