School is on lockdown, the shooter is still at large.
Where was he last seen, and what's the nearest occupied building?
Where was he last seen, and what's the nearest occupied building?
As far as I'm aware there were conflicting reports, different people being checked as possible suspects.
They are holding some kind of media conference soon.
Where was he last seen, and what's the nearest occupied building?
It depends. It was the greenhouse then the tennis court. Its almost winter. People are wearing thick clothes that look the same.
I wish
You wish they would blame this on a game? What are you crazy? Or hate videogames?
Tomorrow's finals postponed. I hate to be glad about that.
I'm glad you're safe, Johnny. Was beginning to worry.
shirtless guy in a car possibly without plates acting weird oh boy oh boy

Media is at a command post
Local k-12 schools on lockdown as well with police there and just making sure things stay safe.

Car crash?
Shit's going down, man.

Another car crash.
Car crashes more active on scanner than them finding the people who killed police officers (that I can make out)
Yeah, I'm leaving VT out of my applications
Snip late

I dont think you have much to worry about as you are in Estonia
Doesn't want the police to see what he's hiding in his car.
So he shoots and kills a cop.
This is a clear example of an ignorant gang banger not knowing you can tell the police "no" if they request to search your vehicle.
If you say no that gives them probable cause.
They just said that have reports of a male subject wearing a maroon hoodie entering the Bed Bath and Beyond at the mall there.
[editline]8th December 2011[/editline]
Apparently there's a lot of people wearing maroon hoodies today...
If you say no that gives them probable cause.
uh, what?
PS. Maroon the school's colors incase you didn't know.
uh, what?

What?
What?
Telling the police no does not give them probable cause. It's your right to not consent to searches. I know from experience.

Normally, but to refuse a search during a manhunt like this won't fly
What?
People at a large college are all GO GO GO OUR SCHOOL so they buy up all the school clothes and wear them (mostly against their will! [not really])
Telling the police no does not give them probable cause. It's your right to not consent to searches. I know from experience.
I know from experience that if you say no it does give them probable cause. If that's not true then they're fucking liars. Big surprise right?
Normally, but to refuse a search during a manhunt like this won't fly
I mean initially. During the original traffic stop. They were pulled over for traffic violations more than likely. Did I miss something?
Well shit :(
I know from experience that if you say no it does give them probable cause. If that's not true then they're fucking liars. Big surprise right?
No, unless they have probable cause to begin with you do not have to allow them to search your car. It's a 4th Amendment right iirc.

I'm just listening to the scanner and they kept stopping people wearing maroon hoodies...
This has put a raincheck on my thoughts of applying to VT.
That being said, that shouldn't be my first thought really.
Don't worry everyone! I'm doing fine!
I mean initially. During the original traffic stop. They were pulled over for traffic violations more than likely. Did I miss something?
Oh well in that case ya you certainly could refuse. If they aren't going to charge you with anything/present a reason you can just leave the scene.
