Did they change the start menu after version 10160 or did you install a third party one to get that? Mine has the documents, pictures etc on the bottom left and it was a bit annoying.
I use Classic Shell. [editline]28th July 2015[/editline]
Umm Huh funny joke I hope
Of course it's a joke, the W7 BSOD doesn't look like that at all, that's 98 and XP style.
Those aren't the same font.
Also good luck clicking on what looks like a hyperlink when the OS has terminally crashed.
Of course it's a joke, the W7 BSOD doesn't look like that at all, that's 98 and XP style.
I do believe you mean Win 8/8.1
I won't be upgrading tomorrow and probably won't until all of the new "convenient" features put in place by Microsoft are discovered. Like the wifi password sharing shit.
Purely an opt-in feature, if you haven't actually looked.
I do believe you mean Win 8/8.1
Are you making a joke? I don't get it. I meant Windows 98.
Also good luck clicking on what looks like a hyperlink when the OS has terminally crashed.
I think you just enter it next time it hasn't crashed
I still don't understand why people choose not to upgrade. It's always just been a straight up upgrade. "Here is everything you like but better" And it's free for most people as well.
I have a question though Free forever?
I have a question though Free forever?
Only 1 year
I have a question though Free forever?
You have 1 year to upgrade for free, once you upgrade you have it forever. It wont lock you out of your PC until you pay, but if you don't upgrade during the free period they'll start charging for it.
Only 1 year
:hurr:
RIP windows trying to update before it actually can.
if you have the pro version (which if you care at all about end-user functionality, you will) then you have lost literally nothing i dont think people understand, windows 10 didn't remove any features, just because you cant be assed to search below the surface doesn't mean they're not there
What features in previous pro versions do you feel you need? [editline]28th July 2015[/editline] I see people say this a lot, but I don't think they know what features pro has.
Where is this GWX folder.. I am getting multiple hits in my search, and they're all over C:\
Whole folder takes about 6.5gb (I'm upgrading to pro) Edit: running setup shows this: Dont want to continue incase errors / fuckups
So what the hell am I supposed to do when Windows Update fucks up and won't download it? I NEED this upgrade as my OS right now is completely fucked thanks to a glitch with Service Pack.
Are you making a joke? I don't get it. I meant Windows 98.
Well then you are wrong, because that's exactly how a Windows 7 BSoD looks like. Without the Windows 10 advertisement that is.
Can I make this download somewhere else than my C drive because that is pretty full
Well then you are wrong, because that's exactly how a Windows 7 BSoD looks like. Makes sense since it's 6 years old and 3 years since I used it.
Press Winkey Type "con" Press enter. :v:
Or an even faster method: Windows Key + X, P
I still don't understand why people choose not to upgrade. It's always just been a straight up upgrade. "Here is everything you like but better" And it's free for most people as well.
Because a lot of issues happen during release, most people wait a few months to upgrade. I know i will be, a lot of the programs i use will not be compatible with W10 right away.

Vista is the only OS I've personally had compatibility programs with on launch, which, as you said, was fixed in a few months.
