This doesn't really mean anything, considering most people watched this online. But censorship is still ridiculous and unnecessary.
well balls, at least Rusty got to see it before this
NOPE.

also I thought australia was like the only place you could watch it fully unedited what
I'm inspired by that short fat man.
Time to make a 24-person human centipede.
Why would anyone actually want to watch this crap?
Something being bad or stupid isn't a justified reason to ban it, the whole point is that nothing should be banned
I just read the synopsis on wikipedia... how can anyone enjoy this stuff?
I cannot fucking comprehend the idiocy of people who judge others based on their movie taste.
fuck
REFUSED CLASSIFICATION BY AN ALL-CONSERVATIVE JURY. :v:
This is why we need a fucking anti-abuse legislation in this country, otherwise we get conservative groups with too much power trying to force their fucking lifestyles upon all of us.
I really want to watch this movie now.
[release]In the latest twist in the multilegged tale of “The Human Centipede 2 (Full Sequence),” that shock horror film has now been banned in Australia, weeks after it made its premiere at the country’s Brisbane International Film Festival.
The “Human Centipede” sequel, the second entry in the Dutch director Tom Six’s series about kidnapping victims who are forcibly sewn together to create a being with a continuous digestive tract, was refused a rating on Monday by Australia’s Classification Review Board, its equivalent of the Motion Picture Association of America, The Brisbane Times reported. The board cited “gratuitous, exploitative or offensive depictions of violence” in the film as it reversed an earlier decision to give it an R rating, which would allow the movie to be seen by viewers age 18 and older.
“Human Centipede 2″ was shown at the Brisbane festival on Nov. 5, though the attorney general of New South Wales had requested that the film’s classification be reviewed and a Christian lobbying group called FamilyVoice Australia campaigned for the movie to be banned. Ros Phillips, a spokeswoman for the group, applauded the board’s latest decision, telling The Brisbane Times, “Pornography based on human torture has no place on Australian screens.”
The developments in Australia are a mirror image of how “Human Centipede 2″ was received in Britain, where the film was initially banned and then later allowed to be shown after several edits were made. The movie was also released in the United States without much controversy and with only minimal editing.

I'm not advocating censorship at all, I just can't see why someone would enjoy watching this

Some people enjoy being being shocked, it's likely due to the overwhelming feeling that nausea/adrenaline can give you.

I guess so, my body only tends to acknowledge the nausea side of these sorts of films.
I think the concept of this sequel is honestly a really good one. It's not a typical one either.
Yeah, at first when I heard of the sequel I was like "how?" but then this trailer explains the plot, that's actually pretty smart. This movie takes place in "our" world, as the bad guy is a fan of the first film, who wishes to do it himself.

I never feel nausea when looking at gore or anything so thats why I can enjoy these films.
since when was centipede pornographic?
The sad truth is that someone, somewhere, is masturbating furiously to that film as we speak, and that makes me want to not live on this planet anymore.

Meh, when the movie's premise is nothing more than "giant ass-to-mouth chain in a subway" and nothing really redeems the whole thing, it's not that interesting. Obviously the movie was made out of pure shock value, and feels like a big ripoff of everything that was made right before. Hell, the first movie even ripped off a few Saw lines, if not entire scenes.

Don't worry, people are doing that to the first Toy Story, too.
HNNG, BUZZ, OH YEAH BUZZ, YOU GO FOR THAT INFINITY AND BEYOND, HNNG

Well it's nice to know I have fans, at least.
Guys, the point is not how bad the movie is, the point is that Aus banned it. Banning something just because you deem it unworthy isn't right. If I was in such power, a damn lot could be banned because I don't like a lot of shit, but I wouldn't. Why? Because others might enjoy it. And after seeing centipede 2 people will most likely not try to recreate the events.

To be honest such a movie would probably not get a lot of money anyway, most people who watched it probably took it from the internet from free rather than actually buying it.
