Well, the whole universe has gone all spectacular today, hasn't it?
We're a tiny fraction of the universe
Come at me solar flare.
bro. [editline]12th March 2011[/editline] Good luck I'm behind 9000 earth shields.
fuckoff sun
I was just thinking that. We have enough radiation in our power plants to deal with without the sun going "lol flare"
omg 2012 the world is gunna end!!
omg 2012 the world is gunna end!!
exactly what i thought. this path of events only leads to more idiots and a bigger conspiracy.
:fyadride:
Good thing it came from the sun. Imagine solar flares coming from the moon. That'd be incredibly silly!
:sun:
Everyone who gets freaked out about this kinda stupid shit is the main reason we go to war for false reasons, and GWB was president twice...
What do solar flares taste like Mr. Sun?

I don't believe that whole 2012 bullshit but this was a frightening chain of natural disasters/what ever you call a solar flare.
Im sure the galaxy will feel the effects of this in some way. Neat picture!

god dammit tien
Wait, there was one this February? Why did I not hear about it/it didn't do anything? Oh right, because it didn't do anything, and they're blowing this shit way out of proportion.
I was just thinking that. We have enough radiation in our power plants to deal with without the sun going "lol flare"
Oh yeah.. that made me wonder, what happens if the flare blackouts all electricity on the power plant, specifically the one in Japan they are trying to cool off. Wouldn't it just go all "lol chernobyl v2" and blamo?
Come at me solar flare.
Come at me skin cancer. [editline]12th March 2011[/editline]
I say we take the earth and push it somewhere else out of harms way of the sun. I can see no flaw in this plan.
Except utter anal darkness.
Shit, this is gonna turn into a pissing contest between the sun and the planets, who can have the biggest quakes
Spoiler: Io wins.
We should totally move the earth's orbit a bit farther from the sun, longer years and cooler climate. Every year we could move a little further away, no global warming!
