My dad knew about this for a long time. When he saw this article he closed his eyes, let out a sigh of relief, and said "finally it's over. I hope it all comes crashing down around those fuckers' heads." Apparently it is fairly well known to anyone who worked higher near this man. I'm glad that kid had the balls to come forward, and I hope these sick fucks get their lives ruined.
If you are telling the truth all I can say is wow. Bryan Singer is a cuntbag.
That post doesn't make any sense at all. If anything stories like this prove how unnecessary an age of consent is. He was above the age of consent in most US states and was still taken advantage of. People take advantage of other people regardless of age. No matter how high you set the age of consent people would still manipulate other people. Do you think adults don't get taken advantage of or raped? The mental gymnastics you have to perform to conclude this are baffling, one you have to believe that because one teenager was abused by an older person that all teenagers will always be abused by older partners and two you have to assume that adults do not or cannot abuse or take advantage of other adults. Adults can be raped and adults can be have consensual sex, teenagers can be raped and teenagers can have consensual sex. There is no developmental, psychological, anthropological or biological justification for an age of consent as high as 18. It is completely arbitrary, which may explain why an age of consent of 18 or higher is so rare.
I conclude that if this guy was 15-17 when all this happened, he was flying around the country in the company of these men without parents or any adult guardian. Sorry but no, I do NOT think a teenager is anywhere close to an adult in being able to deal with a situation like that. He has no idea what he got himself into. He may have thought he did, like all teenagers think they have it all figured out, but he simply hadn't lived long enough to have the experience necessary. Sure there are adults who also get played, but the difference is as adults it is their right and choice to do what they do. When you're underage you don't have the same rights, your parents usually have control. That's why your parents would sign a contract, not you, if you're underage.

In almost the entire world, even in most of America, he was not underage. You discuss his situation as if it is a situation that could only happen to someone who is underage and again in most states he is not underage. Rights can be extended and rescinded, if he was in a state in which he was overage and had the right to consent this would still have been rape. If this story had happened to a 25 year old or a 15 year old there would be no meaningful difference. Rape is rape regardless of age. Do you really think that if this had happened on his 18th birthday rather than the day before there would have been any difference? Do you think people suddenly gain experience when they turn 18, even someone aged 25 could easily lack experience and be taken advantage of. Teenagers can be manipulated, adults can be manipulated, how common it is in either case is irrelevant. The point is that manipulation does not have to occur in either case. Your argument is fallacious as you assume; all teenagers are the same, all teenagers are idiots who are incapable of rational though, they can all easily be manipulated by people who are 18+ and that the second someone turns 18 all of these factors instantly cease to exist. People do not develop at the same rate, not every person over 18 is more mature than every person under 18. There are a lot of very stupid and very naive adults. A person may have been taken advantage of, if this is true the perpetrator deserves to be severely punished. If the alleged victim was a few months older, and thus over 18, my opinion of this wouldn't change. Whether or not someone was taken advantage of, not the ages of those involved, is the relevant factor.
Call me a cynic, but I find it hard to believe. Sure, Hollywood is full of fucked-up deviants and people with no sexual restrictions, but the timing is too coincidental. It appears after 15 years, and right just few weeks before a release of Singer's new, and biggest movie to date. I guess time will tell.
If it's legit, this is the perfect time to pull it out.
