Play this in video tape mode and in 240p for maximum 80's
Before we invested in Foxtel IQ and shit we used to use our VCR all the time to record shows, we still have archive tapes from channels we taped, i've never looked through them tho
b-but home taping will kill the tv industry
I was wondering what that was.
Does anyone else still have all their old VCRs?
I've got one. I can't hook it up to my TV though. For the same reason I can't use my old F-15 replica Joystick/Throttle, or use AGP Video cards in my PC. The connectors are outdated
I sure miss rewinding, let me tell you
"Error starting tape mode."
Thanks.
Would have liked to see a rewind function and that multi coloured screen with the BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE if you leave it running beyond the end of the video for too long
Cool. My ISP is celebrating by making their internet speeds similar to dial-up. oh the memories.
I kind of feel like watching some Carl Sagan now...
Do they come with a free pencil for the rewinding fun?

Yep; still have tapes from back in the day, some of them Disney films. I think I even have a copy of that Ridley Scott classic, Legend. Also we still have our video player plugged into the telly, though we hardly ever use it.

I got the original Star Wars on VHS (AKA NOT RAPED BY LUCAS YET versions)
I'm watching Tales of the Riverbank in tape mode and I feel like I'm a child again.

Also, it's a bit overdone, my VHS stuff looks way better than this, even today. It's done well, though, with the static fading out and stuff.
there was a music video someone made who wrote and ripped it on VHS and then uploaded in YouTube
I love watching cinemassacare's videos on this.
Adds to the nostalgia factor.

Glad to see historic moments like the Radio North Sea Fire Bombing in VHS mode.
